I have to agree with you on this, I feel a great darkness in Kathleen Kennedy she has destroyed Star Wars. She either needs to step down or get fired, and Lucas films needs to hire someone who loves star wars and understands the lore of that universe.

I think for this they’ll need to cast Liev Schrieber for young Baylan. He looks pretty similar to Ray Stevenson(R.I.P.) and he’s got the acting talent for it. And if they want old Baylan as well then makeup,hair,etc I think that’ll be easy with Liev for that as well
As a writer, here's my idea - After season 1, say a year or two, the deserter clone Cody finally finds Obi-Wan, desperate to not only apologize, but describes the clone rebellion, and crucial mission element that requires a Jedi's touch, and the only other two in the network aren't available (Vos and Ventress), but Quinlan Vos sent Cody to Tatooine. This would make it possible to include flashbacks to the Clone Wars with Anakin and Ahsoka, as this new mission ties heavily into one they were all in on during the Clone Wars. Anyways, that's just a concept I whipped up while listening to this video. Take from it what you will.

The Force haunting him with visions and ghosts of the past as he is reconnecting with the force from Season 1 and improving his skills before Episode 4. Which is what honestly season 1 should have been about but I don't mind it being pushed to season 2. Obi-wan goes back into hiding and deals with the harsh desert, bounty hunters,assassins and the empire on occasion. I'd really want more of a spiritual duel of the force between Vader and Obi-wan in a round 2. Where Obi-wan faces his fears and failure training with Qui-Gon undergoing trials. Obi-wan Season 2 must include him protecting young Luke since season 1 was mostly about him with Leia.
I know the script. Picks up, Kenobi is walking with a certain master of his in the desert. Having flashbacks with Anakin in the clone wars to get him through his trauma.
They have had 10+ years. Had they done it with them younger and zero agenda, it would have been perfect. Now, concluding ObiWan in seclusion on Tatooine, Ewan can just complain the suit. It can only work in flash backs. If Kenobi leaves the planet again,it would be absolutely ridiculous. Maybe Ahsoka options....
A live action series that ends with Palpatine being captured (assuming Ian McDiarmid can do it), so it leads right into episode 3 could be cool. I know that was covered in the clone wars shorts but do those really still count?
Can’t wait for the deployment of Sister into the wild and the reaction from the fandom. The chaos that erupts is fascinating IMO focusing time and energy on race, gender, ethnicity, religion or other devisive topics is a waste of resources. It’s a powder keg and polarizing effort. Allow humanity the privilege of extrapolating data and details. One of the things I like about the fantasy genre is drawing my own conclusions. Propaganda is constantly forced upon us in media which is very disappointing. Always in motion is the future. Hopefully we move on from this mess and it’s nothing but butterflies and rainbows moving forward.

You've missed one thing. Recall A New Hope...the scene in which Luke first speaks to Leia. Remember what she said? "Ben Kenobi, where is he?" Not "General", not even "Obi-Wan." She knew him, the name was familiar. It's a thin thread admittedly but it does tie Kenobi to ANH.
Would love to see a live-action version of The Clone Wars TV series… While this should get a budget grater than The Acolyte, this could be shot, similar to The Mandalorian, in the volume. Seeing as this was once an animated series, if they simply set a stylized design language which is perhaps a blend of Live Action meets Animation, then it can more easily be shot at lower cost. This semi-animated filter would also encapsulate the deaging without the high cost and potential cringe.
They've got the whole thing backwards, that's the issue. They're going "Star Wars is a popular IP, if we make a movie/show with this IP, we'll make money. So let's make a new Star Wars movie/show. Now, what should the story be?" They should start with a good story with strong characters, and if the story is good enough, go "Okay, this could be a movie". That's why all these new projects end up sucking: They're working backwards. They should figure out what Obi Wan was up to in those years between 3 and 4, then determine whether or not it's worth making a show about it. Instead, they decided they wanted to make a show about those years, then tried to rework a movie trilogy script from another director to fit into 6 episodes with a fraction of the budget.

ObiWon was the longest, most drug out production from LF. Wasn't it the very 1st movie/series that was announced? Then, before we got it, we had 2 seasons of Mandalorian adn a few other things before we got the ObiWon 8 episode series. I'm 54years old and by their time frame, I'll be dead from old age before the next season would air.
What I would like to see is -what if... - and if they make a life action clonwars series, they could call it 'Generals' that declares enough and say so much.

I want to see a series that runs right up to (and maybe past) the point where he walks over the hill in ANH. He already New Chewbacca (of course) but it looked like he's had a recent interaction with him (and maybe Han too). He wasn't in touch with the Rebellion (that's why R2 was there), but it seems as though they'd been trying to reach him. It would be cool if he'd had prior knowledge of what was happening (maybe from Qui Gon's force ghost or force communing with Yoda). You could weave all sorts of characters into that story. We now know of several force users who could have been around at the time. You could Use Kel Kestis. It would be a shame to kill Cal. I'd like to see him defeated and put in stasis or carbonite, only to have him found and revived much later in the timeline. That would be sick. Maybe have ObiWan on a sidequest involving cool characters, with an underlying thread that brings him up to ANH. There is so much potential there.
A season 2 of Kenobi would be badass, you know they shorted the first season to put money into kks projects, with a fair budget it would be even better Vader pulling the ship out of mid air, little Leia, also don't forget the Inquisitor Fortress with the jedi stored, there is a lot of potential 🤞 keep kk out of it!!!!! As far as a live action clone wars that would be really cool they should use the actors before they are to old to make it reasonable

Disney will make a six episode of Obi-Wan Kenobi season 2 and in one episode of the series for 5 minutes we'll see him in the uniform that's the most they'll do because it's impossible for Disney to do what the fans want
Honestly, i loved seeing hayden and ewan fight in kenobi. And i loves seeing hayden in ahsoka! I was raised on the og trilogy, so i'm not really sure if it is due to getting to at least see something decent from star wars after the horrible movies! But i keep rewatching those parts! A live action would be amazing if done right! And definitely the young ahsoka did a great job and i think would be an amazing addition to christian and ewan!
Without a paradigm change inside of Disney, this is a NO-GO. The fandom CLEARLY has no interest in perpetuating the putrid flavor of STAR WARS ice cream that has been pooped out over the course of recent STAR WARS history. The IDEA and ZEAL is sound. If Disney's willing to give something like the acolyte a total of 230 million dollars to work with, than a live-action Clone Wars series either deserves as much or at least 180 million.
what is there left to show of Obi Wan and Anakin? Yes it would be amazing to see Hayden and Ewan together again but we've seen so much of Clone Wars covered in the animated series.

Ive been wanting a live action clone wars series i really hope they do it and i think they will . Im hyped for obiwan s 2 too if they improve it then im wven happier . But i think after the first season mixed reviews i think they will bring it . But hayden and ewan back im so so happy and theres so much story arcs they can use . Young ashoma anakin and obi wan im punching my starwars fan ticket but you are right I need 10 -16 eps hate 6 ep runs

I want to see a series that runs right up to (and maybe past) the point where he walks over the hill in ANH. He already New Chewbacca (of course) but it looked like he's had a recent interaction with him (and maybe Han too). He wasn't in touch with the Rebellion (that's why R2 was there), but it seems as though they'd been trying to reach him. It would be cool if he'd had prior knowledge of what was happening (maybe from Qui Gon's force ghost or force communing with Yoda). You could weave all sorts of characters into that story. We now know of several force users who could have been around at the time. You could Use Kel Kestis. It would be a shame to kill Cal. I'd like to see him defeated and put in stasis or carbonite, only to have him found and revived much later in the timeline. That would be sick. Maybe have ObiWan on a sidequest involving cool characters, with an underlying thread that brings him up to ANH. There is so much potential there.

A season 2 of Kenobi would be badass, you know they shorted the first season to put money into kks projects, with a fair budget it would be even better Vader pulling the ship out of mid air, little Leia, also don't forget the Inquisitor Fortress with the jedi stored, there is a lot of potential 🤞 keep kk out of it!!!!! As far as a live action clone wars that would be really cool they should use the actors before they are to old to make it reasonable

If you and McGregor and Hayden Christensen do the clone wars in live action that would be a treat almost if the old Republic cinematic trailer, which we have Darth Melges walking out of the Jedi Temple after the sucking of croissant during the old Republic era watching that in live action and if you and McGregor what to do the clone wars in live action, those two things would be a treat for us Star Wars fans and would no doubt save Star Wars
Disney will make a six episode of Obi-Wan Kenobi season 2 and in one episode of the series for 5 minutes we'll see him in the uniform that's the most they'll do because it's impossible for Disney to do what the fans want
Honestly, i loved seeing hayden and ewan fight in kenobi. And i loves seeing hayden in ahsoka! I was raised on the og trilogy, so i'm not really sure if it is due to getting to at least see something decent from star wars after the horrible movies! But i keep rewatching those parts! A live action would be amazing if done right! And definitely the young ahsoka did a great job and i think would be an amazing addition to christian and ewan!

Without a paradigm change inside of Disney, this is a NO-GO. The fandom CLEARLY has no interest in perpetuating the putrid flavor of STAR WARS ice cream that has been pooped out over the course of recent STAR WARS history.
The IDEA and ZEAL is sound. The controlling elements of those who generate it ARE NOT.
If they do a Clone Wars Arc I would do 12 episodes just as what the commentator said. Some other fan favorite characters can also be introduced mostly Clones such as Fives Echo
I still think they should make Obi-Wan season 2 but show case darth vader and what he does for the empire and show Obi-Wan and how talks and the force ghosts and his training while he is alone. And maybe who he meets on that planet

I love Ewan and am happy for a Kenobi 2. This time I would like to see a Kenobi film focused on Obi Wan: not Vader, not Reeva, Leia, or somebody else. Just a Kenobi movie.
