The Devil took off his skin earlier, then you would go down with the Devil's skeleton holding you while you're fighting the demon and angel. Then they'd retreat in the Devil's skull and he'd grow his skin back.
What I like about Werner Wermin's earlier fight is that they kept the scene of his pulling out the rocket but then removed it from the fight al together. In the finalized boss fight, he pulled out the rocket but then his can explodes

If there was ever a new DLC for Cuphead, I could see these unreleased bosses to be the bosses. Just have them be on a hidden island called The Forgottened Lands, Inkwell Isle 5.
I do like some of the unused attacks the bosses have. It would've been pretty cool to add them to the Expert versions of these fights. It'd make them a bit more interesting and complex with new attack patterns.
