Hardtype...Trumpeter...solo...is that even possible...? Also, do you know if it's possible to get Trafuri via skill morph in Hardtype (even if impractical)? The skill still exists and functions if you acquire it _somehow_ (the Smoke Ball needs the spell/its code to function, anyway); it just isn't learnable by normal means in this mod. Besides, the wiki says it's a rank 5 skill, which means that you would want to try to morph rank 4 skills on a demon who was already upgraded a skill; then again, if failed skill upgrades are as broken as you think...
Re:Trafuri - Interesting, although I spent a very long time resetting for rank 5 skills (for the Matador fight) and never saw it. Doesn't mean it's impossible though. As for Solo Trumpeter, I think it's possible, just. Of course you want the extra cycle 2 press turn, as you do for solo hardtype in general. Ashcoop is attempting solo hardtype and they did flag this fight up as a big wall. But if you can consistently avoid the Megidolaon follow-up after Evil Melody then you can probably do it at a reasonable level, since that gives you 12 rounds to kill him instead of 4. Carry Endure for the 1st Evil Melody, and 3 element voids like I do here so you don't need to heal. Adama magatama is used as it repels elec for extra chip damage. Pray he doesn't attack physically after the 1st Evil Melody so you stay on 1 HP for Holy Melody. If you had to beat him before the 1st evil melody, well, that would require a very high level, like 255 or near there. Taunt and spam Magma Axis, with some Freikugel crits too. At max level/stats, magic boost Magma Axis deals ~2500 damage before buffs. Freikugel crits deal ~2000.

Considering the time it would take legitimately, I would personally just...shortcut that part after unlocking the Labyrinth of Amala because the first warp zone is still farmable even though it doesn't give much.

Considering that, maybe I can feel less ashamed if I decide to cheat Trafuri onto someone in NG+ and pretend I got it by morphing... ;)
