The first of it's kind. It's also a countdown. Each one does more damage than the last. At max stats it does 200, next is 450-ish, then 700, then upper 900, finally over 1200 in a game that HP caps at 999hp.

Basically its the -dyne family of the megidola AOE skillset, megidoladoan is the one before iirc
It's essentially an enrage mechanic, once he goes for his 4th or higher one, it is GAME OVER. YOU WILL NOT SURVIVE IT. Think of this fight as a superboss raid

I recently completed the game on gin route i wanted to do another playthrough but after i saw this i said Naaah man Naaaah💀
All DeSu routes are worth playing imo, even the ones I disagree with. But if you're talking about facing Lucifer...I'd suggest you do it during your last playthrough, if you want to be prepared it's going to take at least 2-3 cycles and a lot of Mitama Fusion
I mean you don't have to deal with Lucifer every time, gotta grind to max lv tho

Listening to this after playing DeSu2, I'm definitely disappointed. Was it them not caring as much for this fight's dialogue or was the voice acting always this bad in 1 and I was too invested to care?
they definitely feel like they're being a bit sarcastic which is definitely not the intented tone, i mean, ffs Mari sounds like she got mildly burned, the only one that I think sounds decent is keisuke and even that's questionable
imo, they should have made the screams a lot more visceral, Nanashi from SMT IV has one of the best screams in the franchise, which is not a tierlist I was expecting to make today
edit: ok so I didn't watch the whole video while writing this comment, Naoya's is perfect, Kaido nailed the scream but he went a bit too overboard
It's a combination of miscasting characters and shoddy voice direction. They got a lot of good actors to play the roles, then assigned them to characters that don't fit their voices and directed them poorly.
I got lucky and beat the game ONCE. I saw what Lucifer could do and realized I wasn't made for this.

I only did Amane's ending on the DS so I can't say for sure but on Overclocked Naoya and Kaido join your party during the King of Demons route due to other party members leaving

Which route do you get Izuna in? I've only done the Amane and Naoya routes.
Izuna is playable only in the Gin route.
Naoya's 8th day if you do not kill other demon tamers and Gin/Haru route

To be honest, I've never struggled in defeating Lucifer. If you're at this point, I feel like it's at the point when you're facing Mem Alph in SMT Strange Journey. You should have everything you need to bully this guy. To start off with, I was a lvl 91 before even reaching him. When I did reach him. I was lvl 98, and Megidoladyne only did 50 DMG.
Yeah it's mostly coming here around level 70 and get blasted by Megidoladyne doing like 2k damage because of the level scaling. He's not that hard but his third phase can take a while and screw you over with drain
how the f did you get to level 91 ? There's no effective level grinding in this phase ?
@lesangpro If you spend hours of your life grinding away like you should in any smt game results, shine through. Also, depending on the route you take, it's possible to be a minimum of lvl 80 pretty much as you reach him.
Beat him with the MC at level 80 and everyone else at the 60s by bum rushing him and preventing megidoladyne from ever coming out in the first place, it was fun
