What if you’re playing on a ps5 from a ps4 external hard drive?
Don’t do anything as only the PS4 version of the game will run from external hard drive, PS5 games only run from internal super fast SSD

What happens with all businesses? Will exactly all follow over to PS5? I started a month ago on PS4 version on my PS5 and just learned that its seperated versions 😄
Idk but there is no difference between ps4 version and ps5 version excepting the graphics and a free car. And if you buy the ps5 version you can’t play online with people who have the ps4
The businesses and properties you own are apart of the character you purchased them with so you’ll keep them

LONG TIME FAN PLEASE ANSWER THIS I DONT WANT TO LOSE MY CHARACTER ITS YEARS AND YEARS OF WORK I HAVE EVERYTHING AND 100S OF MILLION NEVER MODDED OR ANYTHING. I jist last night bought a ps5 i transfered ps4 pver to ps5. But i dont have ps5 gta disc yet or download lf 1, So is that considered a migration for me where im.able to play gta 4 ps4 version on my ps5 online. Or can o download the ps5 gta 5 version for half price 10 bucks from p.s plus and use that as my 1 time migration? or did i already accidentally use that 1 time even tho its ps4 game. ? please anyone who is knowledgeable here if Boss is unavailable 🙏🙏🙏
Someone please answer me. When I press the option migrate and the agree to whatever comes to my attention it said downloading data and the it goes to a fully black screen forever. I have restarted my game and tried to even make a new character but it all just sais “can’t load into GTA online while migrating account”. I’ve been waiting for a very long time

Temporary files and data are often stored on the console to help its overall performance. These cached files can get corrupted over time, which can lead to things like freezes, game-loading errors, or connectivity issues. Clearing the cache of the console can prevent these problems or help troubleshoot related errors.
Note: Performing these troubleshooting steps will not hinder your ability to play or delete any save data or progress you have currently made. However, it will reset your brightness setting and choice of language.
To clear your system cache on PS5, follow these steps:
Hold the PS button on your controller
Select Turn Off PS5
Wait until the PS5 power indicator light shuts off
Hold the power button on the console until you hear a second beep
This will take about 7 seconds
Connect your controller to the console using the USB cable, then press the PS button
Select Clear Cache and Rebuild Database, then Select Clear Cache
Select OK
Wait for the PS5 to restart on its own

No you can and you can play the ps4 version still when you get the p5 version

Not sure but you would probably have to link your new psn to your Rockstar account.
