The PlayStation Portal, formerly known as Project Q, is a handheld gaming device developed by Sony. It was announced as part of Sony’s efforts to expand its gaming ecosystem and provide a new way for gamers to enjoy PlayStation content. The device is designed to work with the PlayStation 5 and allows users to stream games from their console over Wi-Fi. It features an 8-inch LCD screen and incorporates controls similar to those on the DualSense controller, providing a familiar gaming experience.
The PlayStation Portal essentially acts as a remote play device, enabling gamers to continue their PS5 gameplay on the go within their home network. It’s a way to play PS5 games without needing to be in front of a TV or monitor, adding flexibility to where and how you can play your favorite titles.

So I actually just found out the PS Portal received an update that lets you connect to Public Wifi without the web browser. Another W for Sony 🤙🏾

It works for me, but I'm someone who's never gonna take the portal to Starbucks or something like that. I mainly use it because most of my work is done sitting at computer so when it's time to relax I just wanna lay in bed and play my backlog. Because of that, I'm more direct to my Wifi and the experience is actually very serviceable.
@@alexvswrld same. I work from home and don’t always wanna play on the big screen. And sometimes I don’t even have a reason I just enjoy it lol
Not gonna lie, I just got it and it has its up and downs, but it does what is intended.. Mobile hot spot works pretty good 👍🏼
@@Borzi_Streamz agreed. I should probably give the hotspot another chance. Connection didn’t seem stable enough but worth a shot.
Next time make background music volume down a bit and add your voice on both headphone sides, because now we can hear you only from right side. Peace

Eu nunca entendi tanta crítica ao PS Portal. Comprei e eu achei excelente. Faz muito bem o que ele se propõe, existem pessoas que gostariam que ele fosse um portátil standalone, mas a Sony numca o vendeu como sendo isso. Paguei um preço que considero muito justo pelo produto, tela e etc...Adorei! Funciona super bem. A construção, tela e botões são ótimos!

all in all at 200 bucks you can't beat it there's a noticeable lag but yet the games are still playable and with the update making you able to take it on the go even further boost its value i say if your a person that's always on the move this is an excellent option if your a home body i don't think you will benefit from it as much
