    I didn’t know I wanted to find a channel with SOLO boardgame playthroughs until I accidentally got your video in recommendations 😅 Such a heaven for an introverted me 😁 I love your vibe too - you look like such a wonderful person to hang out with!

      Yesssss I am majorly introverted so solo gaming is a haven for me! Gets me out of my head and focusing on something that feels productive instead 😊 and awww thank you that's super sweet! I hope you find some games that look interesting to you! 🥰

    Had this game since it first came out and bought it because it it be played solo.....haven't played it yet !
    Have over 400 board games and not sure which to play next....due to not boring physically well space is a problem.
    Been playing R&W small games.
    Must think positive.
    Enjoyed your video.
    Thanks. 🙂

    Thanks for the video! I'd highly recommend customizing Honey Buzz solo with randomized challenges and restrictions, even adding a second set of dummy drones that don't block but require you to place more bees. Also, I tend to make achievement sheets for added replayability. This is one of my favorite solo worker placement games 😁

      All really good suggestions thank you! Maybe that would increase my interest in it and get it played a bit more. It's not one I often bring out

      @@paulsalomon27 I'm sorry, I don't have one yet for Honey Buzz. I was just referring to a general thing I've done for other games when I want to add replayability.

    I totally agree with your thoughts about the solo experience of Honey buzz! It’s just ok solo, and many reviewers saying that it’s better at 3-4 players. It was one of the first games I bought, and now after I’ve played a variety of games with solo mode, I never really want to play Honey buzz again, sadly.

      Yes it's very much an ok experience for me exactly like you say. Definitely one that I don't find myself coming back to again and again. It is lovely though and I think is a pretty great game to introduce the hobby to people with 🥰

    Thank you for giving such a great in depth review of this! Your reasons for not getting it to the table as often really appealed to me as a beginner to the hobby and helped me to make the decision to purchase! I will definitely come back to this video to get a feel for the rule again soon! :)

    Nice playthrough :)
    Didn't you end the game 1 round earlier though? I think the trigger is 4/5 resources at the bottom, no?

    I’m pretty deep into the hobby as you put it but more and more I prefer elegance and ease of play above complicated games; those had their fame. I like to have a lot of agency, limited, tiered randomness and more persistence over plays.

    • @bluedogboardgames
      @bluedogboardgames  Год назад

      I think I like a mix of both, I do love a multi layered strategy game but have definitely found a more recent affection towards lighter games 😊

    Would you consider this a light game?

    • @bluedogboardgames
      @bluedogboardgames  Год назад +1

      It's definitely one of the lighter ones from the games I normally showcase on the channel. I would say it's light-medium for most people but would personally describe it as light for those that are used to euro games with more depth like Feast for Odin and the like.
