US mein one crore rupees India mein 15-20 lakh salary ki tarah hai kyunki wahan India se 7-8 guna mahangai hai.... Yani Jo cheez yahan 1000 mein milti hai US mein 7-8000 mein milti hai....
Bas ek craze hai US/ foreign ka, iske alawa Sara kaam khud karna hoga , maid or servant is very costly there, no middle class person can afford that....
So, it is better to be in India if you are getting package of 20-25 lac which is far far better than 1'20'000 USD ( about one crore rupees)package in US....
Financially, it will be beneficial if you are both earner, then, you can save a good amount...
One more thing, you can not enjoy that social life there which you can in your own country...
Now, India has no dearth of good jobs for qualified persons so it is not a good idea to leave your own place for the sake of money....

India is much better in all aspects (support system, weather). Not sure why so many Indians end up staying long time in US

    मेरे तो आराम से 2.5 to 3 k बच जाते थे जब मेरी अकेले की जॉब 100 k हुआ करती थी, I don't think I was living cheaply either, 30 to 35 K investment ये मेरा 4 साल पहले हुआ करता था and all my friends used to say I spend too much. Btw I live in Florida so may be that too matters. अब तो वाइफ भी कमाती है और salary भी 1.5 times है so obviously saving bhi jyada hi hogi. In my view if you are not saving 25 se 30 lakh yearly living in US, it's not worth living here.

Allow grand parents to enjoy weekends annd parents take care of the kids.
When grand parents grow very old, grand children will take care of their grandparents alongwith their parents. All cannot stay under one roof these days. Everyone needs their space and freedom. Life in USA is not so great in so many aspects. Everyone has their choice.

In India a salary of 30 LPA in chennai will translate into this
    150000 pm takehome
    - 20000 rent
    - 600 internet
    - 200 mobile recharge
    -1000 lpg cylinder
    - 2000 electricity
    - 12000 groceries + veg + meat
    - 3000 petrol
    - 2000 ( car insurance + car service per month)
    - 5000 restaurant food
    - 2000 movie
    - 4000 ( travel irctc,redbus)
    - 2000 medical
    - 5000 misc
The expenses are close to 60000 INR pm.
Savings 90000 pm. 10.5L per year.
If both husband and wife are working 25LPA each, then savings pm can be easily 2.25 L pm, i.e. approx 26 LPA.
BTW in India salary in IT jobs are increasing every year and 30LPA is new normal for 10 to 12 yrs experience. Many are making 40 LPA too.
So that will be a ultra luxurious life in India.
Also, Indian infrastructure is rapidly expanding and getting better.
On top of all, UPI payments in India is far better feature that does not exist in other countries. Literally there is no need of a wallet in big cities.
