I love it! I have the TM 03 with a aggressive bezel and I do use it with as my EDC. I hope that someone manufactures an aggressive bezel for this on too. This one has everything that my TM 02 doesn't. USB C charging, lock out, and 9000 lumens turbo mode is bananas! I'm sold! Exceptional video Sir!
I have one of these and several other Nitecore flashlights. Eight of them to be exact of various types. This Tiny Monster puts out more light than I have ever seen from anything this small. Blinding. It has several different modes as well. The best quality flashlights come from Nitecore, for sure.

Hi, can this be taken on a plane? Wouldn't be able to store in the hold as the battery can't be removed but would it not be classed as a weapon if stored in hand luggage!? I could use this for work but I travel a lot, If it had a removable battery it would be almost perfect!
4:59 It looks like the pocket clip can be mounted in the other slot just to the left of where it is at that time in the video. Could you try it with the clip in the other slot and the other way around (i.e. if you were going to put it in a pocket for head up carry), thanks! Only thing that's stopping me from purchasing is that it can't tail stand and not sure it can be carried head up.
Yes I go over this because its a deep pocket clip and the head is wider than the body the clip won't clip on the barrel because the head sticks out too far. I showed the clip theonly way it can go on. Thanks for watching!
@@CharlesBridgTec Oh damn, that's sad. Thanks so much for explaining. With those two negatives I can not purchase :( Perhaps I can find a different pocket clip that isn't so "tall" that'll work. Thanks again.
That’s a ridiculously short time for the turbo output. Yes it’s driven hard, and it’s a small light, etc, but what is the point of having turbo that isn’t at least for 2 minutes. Sounds like a marketing gimmick to me. Hard pass. Thanks for the video. :)
I should be getting this flashlight tomorrow from Amazon. Definitely would have ordered from you had I stumbled onto this video first. Good review and great links to deep discounts. Subbed, Liked and will most likely be a daily stop for me from now on. I didn't realize the TM9K was a new release from Nitecore. I really needed a high-lumen unit, so I just started shopping last week. I'm familiar with Nitecore, so I went with the TM9K based on the specs. Others, mostly Chinese (I think), had higher output for less money, but I haven't had good luck with Chinese lights in the past so wasn't sure I could trust the descriptions. I surfed your Banggood site for awhile and figure I'll have to try Chinese (or whatever) again. I'll look in your Channel for reviews on the ones I'm most interested in. Anyway, had to comment positively on this review. Kind of disappointed to hear that Turbo on the TM9K lasts for only seven seconds, but I won't/don't use the Turbo mode on my higher-lumen lights anyway, so I'll probably be over it by this time next week. Thanks for everything. Enjoyed the review.
I’m always bothered by the disparity between turbo and high. Why can there not be a 3000, 5000, 6000 lumen between the 9500 and 1900? I see this commonality in all the smaller high lumen flashlights
Great review. And I love nitecore lights, but come on nitecore, turbo for only under 10 seconds? I would have liked to see at least 1 minute. Especially with all the super bright lights that last longer than this ? Still a cool light, other than the turbo burst mode. Thanks , enjoyed as always.
Thx for the great and so thorough review. I currently carry a Nitecore MH20 on my belt as my EDC. After seeing your video I'm itching to get this flashlight. It seems like a TM03 on steroids. It too uses a special 18650 to reach its 2800 lumen turbo max. I wonder why there isn't a mode between 1900 and 9800 lumens. I love the compact size. I think ive found a new EDC.
First! Other than that i dont see many people buying this light. There is too much competition with the D4, Ec65, E07, Mf01 mini that have removable batteries.
Seems like pre-orders are strong actually. I agree with the battery but the others are 5 to 6 thousand lumens is far different than 9000 lumens in its size factor. Thanks for watching!
You never know ? But it could possibly DRAIN the power of the battery 🔋 that is installed in it ! That’s probably why? It Only lasts for 7 secs on Turbo(9,000Lms) mode !?? Anyways 😨😰🤦🏻♂️
Lmao 150$ is cheap af for a beast that will last you a minimum of 5 years. In fact, in 5 years, I'd be looking for an upgrade. I can only imagine the technology that will be integrated to these lights by then.
I disagree for its runtime is excellent on high at 1900 lumens for it size. Its 9000 lumens is there if needed. Turbo is not designed to stay continuously on any flashlight. Thanks for watching!
I don't like it I like the light the design of it but I don't like the fact you can't put batteries in and it's not a thrower it's more of a flood light but anyway it's a great design physically now can make it as a thrower then I would buy it
