This would fit me as a civilian volunteer, with the recent flooding here in my country, Philippines, extensive search and rescue extended through out the night. And grid power is down due to the floods. The amount of lumens and beam shot type fits the work i do. Thank you Nitecore!

Great upgrade. I have the tac and the edc 29. I don't use the tac due to no instant access to strobe. Glad the pro fixed this. So far the edc29s shape is perfect for me right now

It definitely is a great use for 8-12 hour shifts for early evening to late night aircraft inspections, especially with the higher brightness for vertical stabilizer and rudder checks. A nice tool to add to my belt if I win this, but a great congratulations to the winner!
I especially like the additional information you included with the Turbo modes. I absolutely agree that if you need a constant certain brightness/lumen, then look for that exact torch for your use.

As a Security Officer working in an Automotive Industry, this light will definitely come in handy with its powerful 9900 lumens to flood up every nook and corner in the workshop. Its strong search beam will be useful to check for targeted areas, such as anybody hidden inside the vehicle after operational hours as well. I believe TM9K Pro will be able to perform and handle these tasks extremely well too. 👍

I live in a place here in Philippines where power outages are very frequent. This could be the light that i can use for checking up on my grandparents from the other house where the lamp posts doesnt even work even when there are no power outage. I have yet to experience a more than 4000 lumen light. Could be a good light when helping electricians when they're fixing the lamp posts here.
Thank you for the opportunity to win a premium light nitecore. I've been always a fan

I actually use the NTH25 holster to hold my TM9k pro. The bezzle hangs off a little bit at the bottom but it locks in place with the switch. Its not perfect but you can get it to work and considering the holster isnt that expensive on amazon its a solid purchase. Its great for quick access to the light.I also have the lanyard from the edc35 attached and clipped to my belt for more security. But so far the switch once locked holds it great.

3 months ago there was a fire in my neighborhood, then the power was cut for 2hours. I have my Acebeam P17 on me and I lend it to one of the firefighters and he actually liked the light and it never came back to me , atleast he's happy with it🤣🤣. Now this light could be a good replacement for my P17.

Working as a security guard, I lost my MH12 pro during a chase and takedown. I want another Nitecore to replace it. I work outdoors in a large yard so would love a TM9K with its long throw. I need to replace my daily driver, still trying to decide on a possible upgrade to another Nitecore. The nylon holster would have saved me from losing my light. It was knocked out of the plastic mount on my belt.

Recently found your channel. I am a longtime fan of LED lights starting back in the late 90's. I have many LED lights in my collection from over the years and it is cool to see just how things have improved. The light you are reviewing here looks like a true winner, the price is completely reasonable for what it is, not a bad deal and i would love to have one.
I work in manufacturing and our plant is 1/2 shut down. I am the production manager so I have to stay until the last person leaves because I have to lock the building up.
In the winter when the sun sets early it get's creepy over on the shutdown side. There is an air compressor that i have to turn off and it is noisy. Lots of creeks and cracks always coming from around the warehouse as machines, parts, crates, everything gets creaky at night!
Anyway, great review. I also love your shop or your location where you are filming, what is it? Is it a company or your shop or something else???

I'm a university student and I walk to school, and for days that I have late lessons, I have to walk home through some dark area that are so complicated status with pocket pickers and some bridges which lacks of lights that are scary sometimes, so that I have dreamed to have an EDC lights in my bag to use in those situations, for lighting and self defense in emergency situation although no one wants to meet it once. Moreover, as a civil engineering intern, I usually have a concrete shift at night, and a light is helpful to see how concrete goes in the structure and framework. Hope that I'm lucky enough to have an opportunity to win and own this light for myself. Thanks Nitecore Singapore for advertising and recommendations about useful and high-end lights that are really helpful and useful for enforcements, engineers, workers and people with daily needs like me.

Hello, can you please help me decide? I am maybe thinking between TM9K PRO and EDC35. I ride my electric skateboard at night on the streets in a big town with lots of lights. Now, a few times cars didn't see me passing them (riding pretty fast most of the time) and almost crashed because of it, so I need a very strong light to alert them. Not sure if strobe or just activating full shield would work better.
    What would you recommend?

As a data center operator, the Nitecore TM9K PRO (9900 lumens) flashlight would be an invaluable tool, especially during power outages or equipment failures. The flashlight's powerful 9900-lumen output would allow for quick and thorough visual inspections of server racks, cooling systems, and power distribution units for emergency inspections.

It's almost 200 Euros and has an in-build, non-replaceable battery. Never in my life I will buy a flashlight without being able to replace the battery. From an engineering point of view and also from an environmental view it is totally unacceptable to have build-in batteries in flashlights.

    • @mikeenslin3009

Plenty of lights out there that have replaceable batteries... This is a niche light, as he said, definitely not for everyone

    • @MrWhereIsYourGodNow
      @MrWhereIsYourGodNow 4 месяца назад

@@mikeenslin3009 It's for someone who will throw this device away in 2-3 years when the battery is worn or defect. Bad for the buyer (but it was his decision). Very bad for the environment. It is nothing but a shitty, unnecessary move from the manufacturer to build this with not replaceable battery. It already sucks with phones, we don't need more devices with planned obsolescence build in. Even diving flashlights like the Acebeam D20 have replaceable batteries. From an engineering point of view: There is no need to shorten the flashlight by a couple of mm while having the huge disadvantage of not being able to replace the battery.

I have considered this since it came out. Its now 5 months later and this again is on sale on Amazon. It would have to cost at least half as much less before I would even consider it. The runtimes are pathetic, Yeah I Get It Shield and Search are burst modes but 10 seconds only??? The highest stainable output is a feeble Medium mode at 500 lumens, only 5260cd for 145 meters? That means useable light only to about 50 meters. Flashlights that do not have a useful stainable output are of NO use to me. Nitecore do better.
