      Keep an eye on it. We found some that eventually flicker, but they are totally covered by warranty. Use it a lot and keep an eye on the beam quality. I did a follow up video for more details. My new one has been perfect so far.

      Turbo is achieved through the secondary button like you mentioned. I'm not certain that there is a way to program it to on all the time because it only stays on turbo for like 5 or 6 seconds and then dims down.

    • @AverageReviewsYT
      @AverageReviewsYT 4 года назад

      I shot of my use is on my 1 lumen mode. I use it in the dark. Not for working on cars. Not much point of having a "ultra" low mode of 30 lumens. That's stupid bright For "ultra" it should be 5 max. But yes when I'm actuslly in any sort of light 30 is fitting

    • @AverageReviewsYT
      @AverageReviewsYT 4 года назад

      Yeah fuck autocorrect. Most of my use is on 1 lumen or less

    • @outerlimitless
      @outerlimitless  4 года назад

      I would say it depends on the user and intended purpose. For me, I find 5 lumen or less to be under my personal desired output, but I do understand why people would like it. From Nitecore's perspective, they made this as a high output tactical light...so generally for defense or search and rescue...so I am not surprised the ultra low is 30 lumen. I mean...they had to name it something...and for this given output range, 30 is their ultra low. I guess they could call it low-low? Low, medium, medium-high, high, turbo? They have 5 outputs and need 5 names...who cares what they call it, right?

    • @AverageReviewsYT
      @AverageReviewsYT 4 года назад +1

      @@outerlimitless for search and rescue i agree. But there's huge gaps on the lumen output. Maybe spread those out

    Hi, could this be taken on a plane? Wouldn't be able to store in the hold as the battery can't be removed but would it not be classed as a weapon if stored in hand luggage!? I could use this for work but I travel a lot, If it had a removable battery it would be almost perfect!

    • @outerlimitless
      @outerlimitless  4 года назад

      I am not at all sure about taking this on a plane. I would not want to give you bad advice. I would suggest that you are correct that it could not go in your luggage, but it could probably go with you in the carry on. But again, I am not truly sure.
