The only one I tested were the cycling glasses and I scaled the to six figure. I haven't tested the other ones but I found them all using my winning product criteria which tells me they have they all have the potential to be profitable if tested correctly

Hey Gogo! Chris and other merchants using Oberlo are shipping products directly from their suppliers on Aliexpress. When fulfilling orders on Oberlo, you'll place the order with the supplier and they will ship it directly to your customer. -Jessica
You mentioned that you sell WorldWide near the end (even though engagement is built using epacket countries) - which is awesome and I've been curious about this - but how do you know that you can ship to all those countries? Do you check every country in the world and compare it with what the supplier will send to? Also not every country offers ePacket.
No I don't check the countries, most products I've sold have had epacket to most countries I'm targetting but I've not really had many problems with AliExpress standard shipping either

More videos on general stores please! I love Oberlo's advice, taken Oberlo 101, and have given a lot of time to niche stores. But a general store makes more sense to me for now. How would you start a general store differently from a niche store?

Hey chris, I have a doubt on the breakeven point which you told at last. Say for eg, if a prod is $10 with 0 shipping and we are selling it as $30 to test it at start. So profit is $20. So while testing this prod, we should not spend more than $20 on fb ads or more than that while testing. Another question is if while testing a prod, if we dont order the prod first, as you did for cycling glasses, then how do you create a video ad for that for fb? Did you just copy and edit others fb ad or is there some other way as I am starting dropshiping from next week and I am afraid of getting my fb account deactivate
Do not copy other's ads without their consent. There are apps and Ali Expess gives you add pictures and info. Just format it in the ad. Start doing your research.
You shouldn't spend more than your breakeven point per adset, you can spend more than $20 overall. When it comes to video ads you can use animoto and import supplier videos or product photos to create something eye catching on a low budget. I talk about it more on my RUclips channel.
Hi Chris, what is your recommended daily budget for PPE testing for a product? And when retargeting 95% video views, do you go straight to "purchase", or another conversion objective? Thanks!
You don't need a big budget on PPE you can usually reach 100,000 impressions within £50 total if you target worldwide. The daily budget is entirely down to your personal circumstances, the higher it is the quicker the data will be collected.
Chris Wane hey but I think you said you only had 250 pounds as a startup fund for the store then spending 50 pounds per PPE ad and then spending more on conversion objective means you tested less than 5 products.
@@soum8975 When I first started I didn't really know what I was doing so the money I spent was all on conversion based objectives doing £5 a day interest adsets. Within that £250 I found my first winner and then I reinvested some of the profits to find my next one and then the next one and so on.
Log into your Aliexpress account. Hover over to where your name is on the top right where it says "hi *ur name* My ali express. In the drop-down menu click on "my aliexpress" in the header options on top all the way to the right it should have the dropshipping center. You may have to opt in to access it as i did but it's pretty easy.

Hope one of you guys can answer this: It's about making the video ads, do you always HAVE to order the "test product" to create the video ad or can you basically use any video you find of the product for your ad ? I haven't made any video ads whatsoever on my store because being from eastern EU the lead times from ALI are huge and if you want to ride the trend wave you have to be in the right moment with your ads sets.
Great question! If the supplier has a video posted in the product description, you're most likely able to use it. However, it's best to message them to double check. You are not able to use videos made by others. If you want to make your own, I would suggest ordering a sample! 🙂 -Jessica

I explain the shipping time and my shipping and returns page. I have also amended the shipping email that automatically gets sent out by Shopify to include the shipping times. Other than that I don't really do anything else.

Hello! You have to sign in and hover into your profile and have to click on to the "Account". Then a page would come up with many tabs on the top section like My Aliexpress, My Orders, Messages etc. There one of the tab is Dropshipping center. You will find it in the last option of the tabs.

It took me almost 1/2 hour as well. I remember Jessica in one video mentioning that you need to sign up for AliExpress Booster Program. Took me some time to find it and signed up. It's free. I thought it didn't work....then when I refreshed my AliExpress, it finally showed up.
Hi Chris, it’s so nice to here someone who has been successful who is British, it gives me new hope because I too am British and I too have tried many different types of online businesses, I have never tried drop shipping yet but am willing to try it, I have to admit that I’ve tried various other forms of internet advertising including Affiliate Marketing which I lost several thousands of pounds as I was also doing SEO and other types of advertising so let’s just say I got my fingers burnt and I’ll never do affiliate marketing ever again, but I am searching for some way to make money online, I would like to try selling goods on Amazon (FBA) but again it has its own set of problems, like buying the product, getting it shipped from China to the UK and then dealing with customs etc 😲😢 but would you recommend drop shipping instead ?? Is drop shipping any easier ?? Is it any cheaper ?? I'm starting to think it may be account specific. It might not be there if you haven't placed many orders or if you have only just opened an account. It might be worthwhile contacting aliexpress and asking them to add it for you.

Hi there! It really doesn't matter, to be frank. The brands are likely all of similar quality, and if you find your customers prefer one brand over the next, it's very easy to switch. Hey Jeraldine! You can definitely run a PPE ad first. This is what Chris suggests, so that you can engage as many potentially-interested people as possible. -Jessica
So you don’t target a interest you go for Ppe in epacket country’s but you can only make a lookalike Audience for one country at a time?? Doesn’t make sense
I run a PPE campaign to allow Facebook to collect the data for a broad audience. After that I build a 95% video views custom audience and let it build up to at least 3,000 people. After that I build a lookalike audience for epacket countries as a conversion objective. You can run interests alongside the 95% VV LAA but you just need to remember, at the beginning, it's all about letting Facebook collect the data.
Ok I understand, I’m already a subscriber to your channel some good content on there, I’m always confused as to which country to select when building my custom audience!
Please could you cover more about the initial test phases of Facebook ad spend when discussing each product with future dropshippers? It’s incredibly hard to find any information on; 1) how many 95%+ views should you be getting per 100 video ad impressions to see a video is ‘effective’ in order to continue using it to collect data; and 2) What is a good number of 95%+ views before then building a retargeting/look-a-like audience? I appreciate these metrics will like change per product.. but any kind of expectation for these variables would be 1000 times better than having to just guess.
Oberlo - Show us HOW these 6 or 7 figure sellers Marketed these products. It's all fine and well to say "produce videos" and create an Add Set but, what do the videos look like, what quality is needed, did they take the raw footage then have it created on UpWork, or...? Your instructional videos are best in class, but after the last 5 in a row, I'm really scratching my head, help me to placate the itch.

You shouldn't spend more than your breakeven point per adset, you can spend more than $20 overall. When it comes to video ads you can use animoto and import supplier videos or product photos to create something eye catching on a low budget. I talk about it more on my RUclips channel.

You don't need a big budget on PPE you can usually reach 100,000 impressions within £50 total if you target worldwide. The daily budget is entirely down to your personal circumstances, the higher it is the quicker the data will be collected.

Chris Wane hey but I think you said you only had 250 pounds as a startup fund for the store then spending 50 pounds per PPE ad and then spending more on conversion objective means you tested less than 5 products.
@@soum8975 When I first started I didn't really know what I was doing so the money I spent was all on conversion based objectives doing £5 a day interest adsets. Within that £250 I found my first winner and then I reinvested some of the profits to find my next one and then the next one and so on.

Log into your Aliexpress account. Hover over to where your name is on the top right where it says "hi *ur name* My ali express. In the drop-down menu click on "my aliexpress" in the header options on top all the way to the right it should have the dropshipping center. You may have to opt in to access it as i did but it's pretty easy.

Hope one of you guys can answer this: It's about making the video ads, do you always HAVE to order the "test product" to create the video ad or can you basically use any video you find of the product for your ad ? I haven't made any video ads whatsoever on my store because being from eastern EU the lead times from ALI are huge and if you want to ride the trend wave you have to be in the right moment with your ads sets.
Great question! If the supplier has a video posted in the product description, you're most likely able to use it. However, it's best to message them to double check. You are not able to use videos made by others. If you want to make your own, I would suggest ordering a sample! 🙂 -Jessica

Do you explain this in the product description? Do you have an email campaign keeping your customer in the loop beyond the tracking link? I explain the shipping time and my shipping and returns page. I have also amended the shipping email that automatically gets sent out by Shopify to include the shipping times. Other than that I don't really do anything else.

You have to sign in and hover into your profile and have to click on to the "Account".
Then a page would come up with many tabs on the top section like My Aliexpress, My Orders, Messages etc. There one of the tab is Dropshipping center. You will find it in the last option of the tabs.

It took me almost 1/2 hour as well. I remember Jessica in one video mentioning that you need to sign up for AliExpress Booster Program. Took me some time to find it and signed up. It's free. I thought it didn't work....then when I refreshed my AliExpress, it finally showed up.

Hi Chris, it’s so nice to here someone who has been successful who is British, it gives me new hope because I too am British and I too have tried many different types of online businesses, I have never tried drop shipping yet but am willing to try it, I have to admit that I’ve tried various other forms of internet advertising including Affiliate Marketing which I lost several thousands of pounds as I was also doing SEO and other types of advertising so let’s just say I got my fingers burnt and I’ll never do affiliate marketing ever again, but I am searching for some way to make money online, I would like to try selling goods on Amazon (FBA) but again it has its own set of problems, like buying the product, getting it shipped from China to the UK and then dealing with customs etc 😲😢 but would you recommend drop shipping instead ?? Is drop shipping any easier ?? Is it any cheaper ?? I am not very bright on understanding computer technology and am worried that drop shipping would be waaaay over my head 🙄 what would you recommend please ??

I'm starting to think it may be account specific. It might not be there if you haven't placed many orders or if you have only just opened an account. It might be worthwhile contacting aliexpress and asking them to add it for you.

I would just check the ratings of the supplier and the product reviews to see which one is better and then sell that one
Hi there! It really doesn't matter, to be frank. The brands are likely all of similar quality, and if you find your customers prefer one brand over the next, it's very easy to switch. So you don’t target a interest you go for Ppe in epacket country’s but you can only make a lookalike Audience for one country at a time?? Doesn’t make sense
I run a PPE campaign to allow Facebook to collect the data for a broad audience. After that I build a 95% video views custom audience and let it build up to at least 3,000 people. After that I build a lookalike audience for epacket countries as a conversion objective. You can run interests alongside the 95% VV LAA but you just need to remember, at the beginning, it's all about letting Facebook collect the data.

Please could you cover more about the initial test phases of Facebook ad spend when discussing each product with future dropshippers? It’s incredibly hard to find any information on;
1) how many 95%+ views should you be getting per 100 video ad impressions to see a video is ‘effective’ in order to continue using it to collect data; and
2) What is a good number of 95%+ views before then building a retargeting/look-a-like audience?
I appreciate these metrics will like change per product.. but any kind of expectation for these variables would be 1000 times better than having to just guess.

Oberlo - Show us HOW these 6 or 7 figure sellers Marketed these products. It's all fine and well to say "produce videos" and create an Add Set but, what do the videos look like, what quality is needed, did they take the raw footage then have it created on UpWork, or...?
Your instructional videos are best in class, but after the last 5 in a row, I'm really scratching my head, help me to placate the itch.
