OK, this is the second video I've watched from you. What ever they're paying you isn't enough. Where are you and what's your name in case I have any problems with my Denali diesel?
Can i ask what scanner you're using? And would it work on 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD LTZ L5P 4X4? The truck has 14 codes, 3 lost com with TCM, low voltage, image processor, Truck won't shift has no prndl, 4wd only goes in high 4 or auto can't go into 2wd or 4lo. And can't power off instrument cluster or entertainment center. Truck starts runs but won't go in gear. When you shut it off IC and EC stay on power to windows is still there. I left it for half hour with key 100 feet from truck and still on when i returned. I've looked over diagrams. I need to print them out i did see something on all data that had similarities to the issues the truck is having front camera windshield, brake pressure control module, traction control, abs: tcm: transfer case and so on, i believe it was Can data not gonna lie im trying to understand all the different languages all the different lines do and what to expect in testing. Anyway any advice or what scanner you use and would it be compatible with 2024 truck? Thank you!
Oem scan tool you can purchase it on ac delco tds . Com and you can just download it and it works on all years Gm excluding pre 09 years and get you the interface from aeswave.com and they have aftermarket versions of the mdi you can use to communicate with the vehicle. You can buy an mdi but the aftermarket one works just fine and I been using it for years this is the part number DT-GM-3 and you combine it with your oem software and you have a dealer level scan tool. Good luck 👍🏽
@@AD-They brother I got my mongoose GM-3 from aeswave and now i got my laptop that has everything needed to run mdi and gm software. Im just confused on acdelco site as to which subscription i need. There's light duty, then medium duty which is telling me I'd need light duty first to get medium duty. I just want to make sure im getting the correct software. This is for the 2024 Silverado 6.6 diesel 4x4 automatic LTZ Is there a way i could reach out to you privately either email or phone? I appreciate you taking the time to answer me and help me get the correct items to have the dealer level tool. Hopefully i can get this truck figured out here shortly and fixed. Thank you again! Virgil
That’s where the whole point where customers wanna take it to another shop because is cheaper and this is the reason why . You gotta charge to cover your costs of operation so you can have the things you need to succeed.
What tool/software are you using to do all of that?
Factory software for Gm (GDS2) but you can do everything I did with snap on , Bosch etc .
thanks for sharing your expertise, you're very talented

So stupid the number of computer resetting/programming you need to do. They really want to kill off the driveway mechanics.
