The fact that Krystal became the first driver ever in the 12 years of this show to force Andrew to quit the Public Driving says a lot of how bad it truly is!
That shows that Andrew still wasn't as tired of Kevin's company as with Krystal. Truly when it comes to badness this is a new all time low for this show sadly. (And I truly hope that by next season we wont get another Krystal that will get on our nerves this much.)

The show is really supposed to be about the Tylers of Canada, who come to recognize their problems, work hard, and improve. I think the panel was ready to name him the last graduate the moment he moved over to help Daniella.

this comment is hella late but i honestly got a massive smile on my face when Tyler pretty much nailed the Mega Challenge. Dude always admitted to his mistakes and wanted to learn, a humble and funny man and so proud of how much he improved

Andrew deserves a medal and a God-damn big raise after having to put up with Krystal for eight episodes this season. And think about all the stuff that DIDN'T make the show. There's probably footage on the cutting room floor that might be a lot worse than what we saw. Krystal deserves her position as Canada's Worst Person-I mean, Driver. Nah, Person is more accurate.
SchweitzerMan I can only imagine the goldmine of excluded footage.... I'd pay money to see it. Everyone's obviously pegged her as the SJW type and the producers / editors consciously hint at her being quite vocal about it throughout this season. Andrew says at one point, "look at us, dismantling cultural stereotypes!" (almost verbatim) in an attempt to bond with her during one of their rides. I have a strong feeling the producers wanted to keep AS MUCH of her SJW bullshit out of the final product, and wisely so.... would stir up too many controversial viewer reactions, and that's not what this show is about. This is pretty autistic of me but programs like this are a pillar of human creativity- entertaining, highly educational, mildly competitive, all for the greater good. A clever way to make civilization a better, safer, wiser place- viewers are forced to examine their own habits, there's a bit of Daniella, Tyler, and Diana in all of us.

I think the term "Self-Righteous Bastard" better fits Krystal. I've gone toe-to-toe with garbage like this and she uses her attitude to get her way. They get mad whenever people stand their ground against them, and then storm off in a tantrum when they know they can't win.

It did happen to Donna (Season 4 I think?) when her medical condition was revealed. She got evicted and her license went up for review and she lost it.
If she had to drive home, I`m hoping that her car, plate, and picture were on an APB all across Canada! (or at least got stopped as soon as she left the rehab centre)
Sorry for being two years late but YES! I don't see anyone else mention it, but he literally didn't stay to support any of her last challenges, and wasn't waiting at the end. I really hope that he stops supporting her in anyway, family or not, she is a horrible person.
Yes, yes, and yes. Dale was, quite simply, a space cadet. Yes, she was bad, but it was because she was just unable to focus. Angelina was quite bad, but she also had serious mental issues, and even had to leave the show in Ever to seek treatment. That doesn't defend her performance, but it does explain it. Kevin was bad, true. But he never attacked the judges or Andrew for disagreeing with him. He was smug, and had a tendency to deflect blame, but he NEVER said that Tim didn't teach him, or ask to be talked to more gently. Krystal is not only a dangerous driver, she is WILLFULLY dangerous. It's one thing to be a bad driver because you don't know any better, or because you have mental issues. But Krystal knows the right thing to do when driving, but chooses to drive badly "Because driving safe is boring". THAT'S why I think Krystal is the worst driver ever on this show.
It's since come out that Krystal does have serious mental health issues - diagnosed after the show completed taping. Sad that it took this for her to actually seek help. I can't recall the medical terminology but it amounted to compulsively engaging in dangerous behaviour. So really she's equal to Angelina, but in a mega bitch vs. princess diva sorta way.
Yes, it was reported after the show that she was diagnosed with BPD, otherwise known as Borderline Personality Disorder. I have some serious questions about that diagnosis though, as it's generally not a disorder that goes undiagnosed for long. I grew up with someone that was diagnosed with BPD at a young age, and it's a seriously bad mental illness. BPD is usually diagnosed in adolescence or young adulthood as that's when symptoms first appear. These symptoms can range from self-harm/self-damaging behavior, a disturbed sense of identity, to complete breaks with reality or even full on psychotic episodes. Whether she suffers from BPD or not, it's obviously impossible to know from watching a TV show, but the one thing I am almost certain of is that she wasn't just diagnosed with it now. If she does suffer from BPD, then it's likely a mild form as her behavior is nothing like what I witnessed growing up along side it.
CWD doesn't have that authority, but any police officer who catches her does. And now _everyone_ has footage of her breaking the law and not caring, time and again.
To add, prior to his retirement in the early seasons he was acting as an instructor not a law enforcement officer which puts restrictions on him in acting in an official capacity. The most he could do is send the videos on to the EPS and the RCMP to act upon.

I honestly wish you could create a hybrid of Daniela and Kristal. Daniela needs some of the confidence not to die from Kristal, and Kristal needs 90% more of Daniel's "I'm gonna die" attitude. That way, Kristal perhaps could stop speeding, and stop texting, running red lights and running stop signs; and Daniela could be a little more safe on the motorway by having more confidence.
I'll admit, ever since the Eye of the Needle challenge, I'd called Tyler the runner up. He really turned around in the back half of the show, which is a lot better than never at all. With how he did, he deserved to be the final graduate.
I'm getting started with motorcycles soon. What took me so long? Well, finances and other worries in life, but the thought of many others like her out there makes me instinctively cover the levers just trying to type this.
Danielle just needs a nice, calm highway in the country. that's what helped me. She'll eventually relax and start looking around and learn how to observe other drivers
She also needs general therapy for her anxiety. I don't think this a driving issue, at the root of it. This must be a symptom of a deeper psychological issue. She totally can drive, there is no driving-related reason for her to be scared!
Krystal needs to be locked up in a Psych Unit and the keys thrown away. She could care less about anyone but herself. I am a retired EMT provider and nurse. I have had these kinds of people on calls. They are the ones that get a few scratches while the innocent one dies. For every infraction she has she should have to go to the morgue and view an autopsy from a car accident. And not everyone drives with their cell phone. I honestly don't know how she got a driver's license in the first place. Are there no classes in Canada that people have to take? I live in the USA and it's a 3 month course, a written test, and a driving test just to get the temporary license. Then there are 90 days on that temporary license. It is different for high schoolers. If I were Cam I would be calling the town that she lives in and have the police pull her over and take her license away forever.

When I was 12 years old a drunk driver crashed head an into us my dad and the drunk driver in the other car died on impact my mother lived for 9 days she died on February 23rd 1975 the woman passenger that was with the drunk driver lived for 5 weeks my brother was in hospital for 4 weeks and I spent 3 months in hospital. The accident happened near the village of Slane in County Meath Ireland just a half mile from our home outside my grandmothers house where my dad was born. The accident happened on the 14th February 1975 it was 8.30pm on a Friday evening we were on our way home from mass. RIP mam and dad and all those innocent people killed on the roads all over the world. Please don't drink and drive peoples lives are worth a lot more than that.
I love a happy end for Tyler. I was rooting for this guy since the first episode. He was one of the few this season that actually wanted help and actively tried to receive it.

Alberta's is a numbered class system from 1-7. Class 1 for example is a commercial truck license. Personal vehicles up to a 1/2 ton is Class 5 and a Learner's permit is a class 7. The only restriction a class above 7 has is what vehicles they can drive. A Class 7 is the only one with additional restrictions.

The fact she did so much worse is quite satisfying though! I mean, all off her failures were satisfying because she's such a horrible person. Conversely, all of her successes were incredibly frustrating, because she immediately acted so smug about, like she has always been able to pull it off instead off realizing or accepting the fact that she succeeded because she put her phone down and LISTENED to advice for once! I haven't felt the same for anybody else on the show from season 12-14 (which are the seasons I've seen so far), anyone else I'm happy for their successes and sad for their failures. But Krystal manages to turn that into the opposite!

You know there's something wrong with you, when your own brother has no interest in supporting you. When he's so embarrassed, so ashamed and so angry to be associated with you, that he'd rather just walk away. I am so annoyed by Daniella. She is clearly not taking any responsibility for her actions. "Did you just ran a red light? "I don't know". "What's right to our side?" (doesn't even bother to turn her head) "I don't know". Did we just ran over a family with a two kids right in front of us? "I don't know". Nothing is her fault if she "doesn't know" right? Look how she even intentionally avoids shoulder checking when andrew tells her to before switching to the right lane at 25:29? Wow Canada's pretty strict with red lights. Here in Australia you can only be booked for red lights if you enter the intersection after it's red. Even if you go through a yellow and your crossing the intersection on a red your still safe & the red light cameras won't go off since you entered at a yellow.
I've never seen comment sections so in agreement throughout each episode in this season. Andrew once said Krystal drives like a horrible person. Little did we know at the time it's simply because she is just a horrible person.
Major props to Andrew for putting his foot down. Tbh the only thing that would’ve made that moment better would’ve been Andrew reporting that Corvette as stolen when Krystal stormed off with it.
Krystal clearly needs more training and has a serious attitude problem. I am surprised her license is not suspended or revoked, or that she was eligible to get it in the first place. It just goes to show that learning by illegal joyriding is a terrible way to learn to drive. Until this show she has never been taught properly and it is going to take a long time to undo the bad habits and unlearn her poor initial teaching.
I've found out recently that, at least in Nevada, there is an interesting policy for license renewal. My dad's had his license since 1989, and it's set to expire. This doesn't apply to him, but I found out that according to Nevada policy, 3 moving violations in 4 years requires one to retake a WRITTEN test, and 6 moving violations in 4 years requires one to retake a DRIVING test. There are people who just shouldn't drive, and if Krystal were driving in Reno today, she'd need to AT A BARE MINIMUM retake a driving test, which I'm positive she'd fail with flying colors.
I forgot about that fact, but it's so hilarious (and typical) that Krystal chose to learn how to drive on her own instead of asking someone to mentor her, as she legally should have, then years later complains that nobody taught her how to drive after six weeks of refusing to learn from an entire team of experts TRYING their hardest to teach her!
I feel so so so so so bad for Andrew, he put up with so much, he was calm even when he was yelled at, he finally lost it and than she basically says that he's been rude to her and yelling at her, she was such a rude bitch that didn't want help even though she was offered help... She chose to be rude and obnoxious and so oblivious and delusional. She is one of those people that won't ever accept help and will always push the blame on others.. I feel so happy for Tyler if he truly committed to not drinking and driving ever again and I loved how he stood up for Daniella, she was so nervous, she got so much better, she might never be able to drive alone but she still improved and I loved how happy she was when Tyler got trophy! They were both amazing compared to that last piece of garbage.. I legit have no nice words for Krystal.

Tyler is awesome this episode for being Daniella's shield. There is no way ANYONE could drive right with someone laughing right in your ear, especially when you already have anxiety eating at your head. Daniella needs some therapy for her anxiety and I'm sure she will do much better.
Sadly, after a Facebook public campaign to get krystal re-tested, Alberta's authorities re-tested every person from s12 CWD, including Krystal, and her brother confirmed that she passed her re-test and is still on the roads. I feel for people in Alberta. This woman is selfish, rude, uncaring and just plain psychotic. Her driving skills are sub par, and her attitude is so bad, that she should have her licence permanently revoked for life.
I will need to talk about Daniella for a second here: She reminded me of Shirley and Jason (the CWD'ers in previous seasons). Her confidence levels were low and she needed more time in my opinion. But I am proud of Daniella and believe it or not, she made great progress later on after the show. She will be like Shirley if there is ever a second season of Worst Driver EVER. And congrats to Tyler once again!

Angelina was quite bad, but she also had serious mental issues, and even had to leave the show in Ever to seek treatment. That doesn't defend her performance, but it does explain it.
Kevin was bad, true. But he never attacked the judges or Andrew for disagreeing with him. He was smug, and had a tendency to deflect blame, but he NEVER said that Tim didn't teach him, or ask to be talked to more gently.
Krystal is not only a dangerous driver, she is WILLFULLY dangerous. It's one thing to be a bad driver because you don't know any better, or because you have mental issues. But Krystal knows the right thing to do when driving, but chooses to drive badly "Because driving safe is boring". THAT'S why I think Krystal is the worst driver ever on this show.

It's since come out that Krystal does have serious mental health issues - diagnosed after the show completed taping. Sad that it took this for her to actually seek help. I can't recall the medical terminology but it amounted to compulsively engaging in dangerous behaviour. So really she's equal to Angelina, but in a mega bitch vs. princess diva sorta way.
Yes, it was reported after the show that she was diagnosed with BPD, otherwise known as Borderline Personality Disorder. I have some serious questions about that diagnosis though, as it's generally not a disorder that goes undiagnosed for long. I grew up with someone that was diagnosed with BPD at a young age, and it's a seriously bad mental illness. BPD is usually diagnosed in adolescence or young adulthood as that's when symptoms first appear. These symptoms can range from self-harm/self-damaging behavior, a disturbed sense of identity, to complete breaks with reality or even full on psychotic episodes. Whether she suffers from BPD or not, it's obviously impossible to know from watching a TV show, but the one thing I am almost certain of is that she wasn't just diagnosed with it now. If she does suffer from BPD, then it's likely a mild form as her behavior is nothing like what I witnessed growing up along side it.

To add, prior to his retirement in the early seasons he was acting as an instructor not a law enforcement officer which puts restrictions on him in acting in an official capacity. The most he could do is send the videos on to the EPS and the RCMP to act upon.

Krystal needs to be locked up in a Psych Unit and the keys thrown away. She could care less about anyone but herself. I am a retired EMT provider and nurse. I have had these kinds of people on calls. They are the ones that get a few scratches while the innocent one dies. For every infraction she has she should have to go to the morgue and view an autopsy from a car accident. And not everyone drives with their cell phone. I honestly don't know how she got a driver's license in the first place. Are there no classes in Canada that people have to take? I live in the USA and it's a 3 month course, a written test, and a driving test just to get the temporary license. Then there are 90 days on that temporary license. It is different for high schoolers. If I were Cam I would be calling the town that she lives in and have the police pull her over and take her license away forever.

When I was 12 years old a drunk driver crashed head an into us my dad and the drunk driver in the other car died on impact my mother lived for 9 days she died on February 23rd 1975 the woman passenger that was with the drunk driver lived for 5 weeks my brother was in hospital for 4 weeks and I spent 3 months in hospital. The accident happened near the village of Slane in County Meath Ireland just a half mile from our home outside my grandmothers house where my dad was born. The accident happened on the 14th February 1975 it was 8.30pm on a Friday evening we were on our way home from mass. RIP mam and dad and all those innocent people killed on the roads all over the world. Please don't drink and drive peoples lives are worth a lot more than that.

Alberta's is a numbered class system from 1-7. Class 1 for example is a commercial truck license. Personal vehicles up to a 1/2 ton is Class 5 and a Learner's permit is a class 7. The only restriction a class above 7 has is what vehicles they can drive. A Class 7 is the only one with additional restrictions.

Krystal clearly needs more training and has a serious attitude problem. I am surprised her license is not suspended or revoked, or that she was eligible to get it in the first place. It just goes to show that learning by illegal joyriding is a terrible way to learn to drive. Until this show she has never been taught properly and it is going to take a long time to undo the bad habits and unlearn her poor initial teaching.
I've found out recently that, at least in Nevada, there is an interesting policy for license renewal. My dad's had his license since 1989, and it's set to expire. This doesn't apply to him, but I found out that according to Nevada policy, 3 moving violations in 4 years requires one to retake a WRITTEN test, and 6 moving violations in 4 years requires one to retake a DRIVING test. There are people who just shouldn't drive, and if Krystal were driving in Reno today, she'd need to AT A BARE MINIMUM retake a driving test, which I'm positive she'd fail with flying colors.
I forgot about that fact, but it's so hilarious (and typical) that Krystal chose to learn how to drive on her own instead of asking someone to mentor her, as she legally should have, then years later complains that nobody taught her how to drive after six weeks of refusing to learn from an entire team of experts TRYING their hardest to teach her!

Starting to watch it, and my nerves are already shattered!
I will need to talk about Daniella for a second here: She reminded me of Shirley and Jason (the CWD'ers in previous seasons). Her confidence levels were low and she needed more time in my opinion. But I am proud of Daniella and believe it or not, she made great progress later on after the show. She will be like Shirley if there is ever a second season of Worst Driver EVER.
And congrats to Tyler once again!

Krystal is just a bad person, I have come to enjoy watching her cry at the start when Andrew calls her a horrible person (at the beginning). when she stops the road bc it gets "too hard" that's such bs, then after that she goes off on Andrew, she doesn't care about anything or anyone, Also laughing at Danielle for hitting stuff, while Krystal can't do any challenges.....
