Running Up That Hill (Deal With God)

This is the first arrangement I've specifically written for my Huss & Dalton T-0014. A long time Kate Bush fan this piece has of course become very popular of late with the superb series Stranger Things. I've wanted to put this on guitar for some time and this certainly was a bit of a challenge. A few artistic decisions had to be made to make it more guitar like but I hope I have done Kate justice. It is is CGDGAD with a capo at fret 3 to keep the original key. Recorded through an AKG Lyra microphone into iMovie and then mastered in Logic ProX. The capo is a g7th Newport (I'm beginning to prefer this over my performance 3 capo) whilst the strings (for those that want to know these things) are D'Addaro XS lights (mostly- I beefed up the two top strings).
Hope you enjoy it. I don't know where I stand with copyright for this so wont be selling Tab for my arrangement.

I've listened to this one a few times, very memorable and I don't know the original. Have you ever considered using a thicker gauge on the bass strings seeing as you tune down so low?

You have reminded me to try and record my updated version. Yes, I've now gone to a 54 and will probably go for a 56 eventually. I use a 59 on my longer scale Brook which stays in CGCGCD
