I have 3 of these. Two are the 1st run in plane and truck modes and the bot mode is the 2.0. No issues with the one in bot mode. Poses good and stands well thankfully. It’s the best MP accurate Octane there is right now.
I like this octane. I think it's a beautiful bot.

Thanks, the paint definitely helps but for me the feet are a deal breaker
I got this last year and wasn't even sure I got the metallic version but after you said it had chrome I dug it out of the loft and it is! Thanks for clarifying what the differences are :)

I have no big issues with the original. Only the drop toe. Love the figure. Looks great in all modes. Size doesn't matter to me. I'm leaving it in bot mode. Cool Review ✨️😀

I have the metallic version as well. I have no issues with the balance and the articulation of the figure except the ratchets on the legs (the big gap sucks). Everything is tight and tabs fine in all three modes. It's a very nice figure. Too bad that everything on your copy is very loose.
The truck cab seems to be closer to Huffer's size. Not the worst figure, but never quite did it for me. Thanks for the look Sony.

The arms in jet aren't supposed to be turned around 180 degrees? Looks like the bottom side of the 'engines' also have the same pegs right? Maybe thats the side that is supposed to go into the plane wings in jetmode? I know it won't magically make it a better figure, but just a thought lol. Thanks for reviewing this and giving it an honest 2 out of 5.
Thanks, the arms won't fit the other way because there are two tabs on the other side
@@TMReviews Now that you mention it. I remember having to disassemble the arms on mine and rearranging the pieces to make it transform properly in plane mode. I assumed it was not assembled properly. It was the unpainted grey piece that I flipped vertically. So that the elbow bends further from the bottom hinge instead of the top hinge, if you know what I'm saying.

To everyone who hates on this figure i just say, i want to see you do better. I love this figure with it's imperfections and all (except the feet).
Come on Fans Toys we need an Octane from you guys. How in the world would a company make the alt modes work though? You can’t make him too much bigger or he wouldn’t fit with Astrotrain and Blitzwing. I can stand to see him a head or two taller but that would be about the extent of it. He’s just another one of those characters that some modes will always be sacrificed.

I'm actually kind of amazed they went with the OG hands for him instead of the improved ones like they did with Trailbreaker...
this mold is almost 6 years old
I think he is saying it would have been a nice upgrade since they are reissuing like they did for the junkions

Man I got mine yesterday and this has to be the dumbest foot design I've ever seen haha. Also, in trying to pose him I've discovered on of the knee ratchets doesn't grip at all. Currently trying to fix it. I've never returned a Transformer but I'm pretty close on this guy. Yikes.
