2:45 is very accurate about the Chinese. It made me laugh. Having lived in China, cheese is not easy to find anywhere. It's very new to them, just started to get popular manily by fast food chains like Pizza Hut and McDonalds. Plus, most don't like cheese, especially the older generations.
The human brain is generally very reluctant to accept new food items with particular properties; meat products are the most notorious, so much so that most people have trouble even imagining eating meats that are different to their local types (that becoming ridiculously obvious when you consider people are even weirded out by the notion of eating simply different species of fowl or fish than they are used to, which shouldn't generally be that odd), but cheese is also notable, in that it is one of those items which often puts off people who are not used to eating it.
The animation in this is so simple, yet so delightful and charming. It's in perfect harmony with the tone of Mr. Kindstedt's lovely lecture. Thanks so much for making this, folks!

@Alexander Ultimate I like trains.
I like how they showed a “Frankenstein’s Cheese” and then mentioned a variety of cheese called “Munster.”
it's probably a coincedence, but it IS funny though.

2:45 is very accurate about the Chinese. It made me laugh. Having lived in China, cheese is not easy to find anywhere. It's very new to them, just started to get popular manily by fast food chains like Pizza Hut and McDonalds. Plus, most don't like cheese, especially the older generations.
That is because Asia is one of the most lactose intolerant regions in the world
Their loss. I love a good brie.
Claire Mercer Roquefort is stinky, but it’s hella gouda
The human brain is generally very reluctant to accept new food items with particular properties; meat products are the most notorious, so much so that most people have trouble even imagining eating meats that are different to their local types (that becoming ridiculously obvious when you consider people are even weirded out by the notion of eating simply different species of fowl or fish than they are used to, which shouldn't generally be that odd), but cheese is also notable, in that it is one of those items which often puts off people who are not used to eating it.
