It's not a huge shock that McLaren was the best with the hard tire because they always heat up the tires the fastest for the better or the worse. Softs were overheating for everyone basically and McLaren had no trouble getting the hards fired up fast and keep it that way.
Yeah the Mclarens were good with Hard tyre than RB. And Norris drove brilliantly. Max & RB had no anwers. Even without safety car Lando could have ended up in the podium.
Max had a hole in his car 😂 without the safety car mistake Lando would have needed to overtake at least 2 Ferrari. If they defended hard he would have lost more time so yeah Lando would probably have not wonn. You need some luck sometimes. Happy for Lando.

Without that damage there would have been a fight for the victory. Lando nice he wonn but he got lucky with SC mistake and Max damage. Sometimes you need luck.
Lando was flawless, and his car was working better with the track as well. So hats of to his and the team's performance. Also, I think it is a sigh of relief for the rest of the grid that Max is beatable. The RB20 is definitely a worse car than the RB19 was in terms of performance, as it is far more tricky to set up, and it just doesn't like low to medium speed corners as much. When it clicks with the track and setup, Max runs away with it, but the same can be said for the other teams like McLaren this race. Lando just hauled ass as quickly as possible away from Max, cause he knows who he is dealing with.
Finally. Redbull actually having some competition. 2025 is going to be an amazing season. So many changes coming. Not so good for Max and his Dad. Definitely not going to be a 7 time Champion now.
I am happy for Lando, but this is not "competition". He didn't overtake a single car for the win and it was almost impossible to overtake on track. He had the best pace for sure and got an extremely lucky SC. Also you do realize that you don't win WDC from being #1 every race right? Max was 2nd, if thats bad then I want what youre taking. And 2025 season is not the new regulations btw
