Max is the consistency of Lewis, the dedication of Schumacher, the passion for racing of Alonso, the technical knowledge of Prost plus the speed and ruthlessness of Senna, all combined into a pureblood racer that, like Raikkonnen, doesn't give a sh*t about anything else but racing.
Fun Fact: If Max got a 20 second time penalty at every Grand Prix in 2023. He would still be first with 352 points, leaving his teammate Sergio behind with 323 points
Dont forget when they switched max and kvyat they asked in interviews what they where doing when they got the call from helmut. Kvyat awnsered he was watching game of thrones and max awnsered he was studying the track and the corners of the next race.
Max is just based and his entire life is racing. In equal machinery, there's no beating him, so he has no equal among "equals", he is Senna reborn with Michael Schumacher's work ethic, there's no beating that.
We often shared the track in Genk with Max and Jos when my son was racing karts. The thing that convinced me he was a unmatched talent was when he went from direct drive to shifter karts (KZ, KZ1, and KZ2). Shifter karts require a completely different driving style to direct drive. Normally, it takes super talented drivers a couple of years to adapt and get competitive. In his first full year in shifters, Max won the FIA European Championship in KZ, the WSK Euro Series in KZ1, the WSK Master Series in KZ2, and the FIA World Championship in KZ -- all while also racing full time and winning championships in KF (direct drive).
I once watched Max driving a go-cart in full rain during a trainingafternoon. He was so much faster then anyone else on the track that day, it was fenomenal. He was , i think 10 years old, drove like a pro, but still a child of course......very special to watch this back than !
I've seen Schumacher win, I've seen Alonso win, I've seen Vettel win and I've seen Hamilton win ... and no one comes close to Verstappen in pure skill, dedication and racing intelligence, all in one.
Max's ability to adapt to any car has to do with dad changing setup before the race without telling MAX. Legend goes he even put some oil on the clutch at some point, just to make him adapt. Jos, instead of making everything as easy as possible, challenged Max at every opportunity. The making him drive in and weather honed his skills even more.
The greatest that will ever be. Having watched every F1 race since the 90s (when I was 4 years old) I've never seen anyone close to Max. A tier above Schumacher
I woke up early to see his first race in Australia in 2015 if I remember well, have been watching all his trainings, qualifying and races upon today. The kid has never failed to amaze me and I hope to live long enough to see him becoming the best driver this planet has ever seen.
Max is the GOAT. He has no weaknesses. the most complete driver there has ever been, only Michael Schumacher comes close.

I think the biggest "wtf" from Max was hearing he was simming online until 4am before the Saudi GP.

Like Senna, Max wakes up thinking about how he can be faster. Lewis wakes up and is thinking about what is in his wardrobe.

Max is a wonderful antidote to Hamilton. No bs, fashion faux pas or political nonsense. And he's a superior driver.
He went from karts to F1 in just over ONE year. That is crazy...

Max is also a dream driver for engineers.

The boy is a machine and at the same time, the average Dutch boy next door.

We are witnessing history being made.

Still so young, and allready the GOAT. What a legend.
