    Almost 3 years now, and still the best crochet braid pattern documented! Often my stylists argue, but I come back every time.

    this braid pattern is answered prayers like seriously. I absolutely hate the big braid at the back because my hair is thick and it is too big and difficult to hide. Wish i found this about a week ago. HITTING FOLLOW

    Lesson to all braiders who grab your edges like they man forgot tha' roses. You know who you are. Ya got blood and tears runnin' down they face?! And you don't even care. Yeah...you!!
    You see how she takes care not to pull and snatch her clients edges at tha beginning of tha cornrow? That's how you know you got a person who cares for her clients and their mane. Beautiful Job Beauty.

      Amen to that! I still can't understand why some braiders feel like they need to pull your brains put through one follicle at a time! Have women ready to take their hair down as soon as they get it done!

    • @Nappy2BeMe
      @Nappy2BeMe 9 лет назад +7

      +Natalie Brooks---- riggght. then they wonder why they edges are shiny.....ughhh cuz ...your hair is gone....lol.

      +Natalie Brooks OK ummmm......YUP!!!!! You sit through torture and can't even get through the night it's so painful! And THENNNNNN........you sit through the torturous braiding.........and then you have to sit through the sew-in. Can you say "cry like a baby????" LOL!!!

      It's true, it takes a very secure and strong person to show such good technique! I'm a licenced hairstylist (been in the game for over 13 years). I'd be a fool not to take heed from your talents and learn more. Although I'm off for maternity, I felt like I was taking an advanced technique class from my own home! Thank you darlin, your video(s) gave/give me life chile!

Now, I'm going to try with loose hair and probably do my own tutorial for talentless folks like me. If I can do it, anyone can. I'm a huge fan. Thanks again

    I love how you took your time and showed each detail on how you braided your clients hair! Thank you so much!! Can you do a tutorial on how to braid in a beehive pattern step by step!! Thank you so much I haven't come across a detailed video of that specific braid pattern my edges are thin and I'm trying to stay away from straight back braids to avoid tension on my hair line Thank you so much! Great video!!

      I've got thin edges also, you're right, I think going across would be better, but how would that work for crochet braids I wonder? I can't imagine it. have you seen any styles with that base? very curious 😊

    I want to thank you so much for sharing your technique. Most beauticians would not do this because they are afraid they will loose money. I have not come across anyone in my area of the country that can do this and this will help me tremendously be able to do my own hair. I just need to get someone to braid my hair because I don't know how to braid but I can do the crochet without any problem. AGAIN, MANY THANKS!!

    I've been doing this braid pattern for a while when i first began doing crochet on myself and customers. I didn't know it was like "a thing " i just thought it was the best way for myself so i did it.
    The only thing i don't like about it is it takes soooooo long to fill in all those braids. Soo i have started doing a different pattern and trying to get it just how i want it. It still gives fullness . Natural part, and less time on braiding and installation.

    So I have a question....what is the significance of doing the criss cross braids on top?

    • @lalab022
      @lalab022 9 лет назад +29

      Middle and side parting, so it can look more natural when separating the hair

    • @candlecane
      @candlecane 9 лет назад +4

      Bee Simms It's the same if you were to just join two cornrows into one as opposed to criss crossing.

    • @manyrubies
      @manyrubies 9 лет назад +32

      Bc it's unnatural to have a side or middle part that goes beyond the point where she criss crossed. It's to stop the part so it looks natural when the client styles her hair
