this braid pattern is answered prayers like seriously. I absolutely hate the big braid at the back because my hair is thick and it is too big and difficult to hide. Wish i found this about a week ago. HITTING FOLLOW
Lesson to all braiders who grab your edges like they man forgot tha' roses. You know who you are. Ya got blood and tears runnin' down they face?! And you don't even care. Yeah...you!! You see how she takes care not to pull and snatch her clients edges at tha beginning of tha cornrow? That's how you know you got a person who cares for her clients and their mane. Beautiful Job Beauty.
Amen to that! I still can't understand why some braiders feel like they need to pull your brains put through one follicle at a time! Have women ready to take their hair down as soon as they get it done!
+Mrs. Sista' I had to laugh!!!! Soooooo been there! I've had my hair braided soooooo tight i couldn't even bend my head! Ya'll are cracking me UP! And so true that you wonder why your edges are shiny.......YUP! 'cuz your hair is GONE! LOL!!!! Yes BeautyCanBraid is gentle and monumentally skilled!!!!
+Natalie Brooks OK ummmm......YUP!!!!! You sit through torture and can't even get through the night it's so painful! And THENNNNNN........you sit through the torturous braiding.........and then you have to sit through the sew-in. Can you say "cry like a baby????" LOL!!!
You are killing the Crochet game. I am going to be using your braid pattern for the twist braids to do my niece's hair tomorrow. your vids are heaven sent. keep them up because you are truly a help. God bless your hands
Lawd lawd lawd,,,,,, 👏 👏 👏 that braid pattern is EVERYTHING. What I like the most about you is your FEARLESSNESS ! You give me the sense that your in competition with NONE which makes you able to show your style and techniques with EASE, PRIDE AND TALENT. You already know IM A FAN. AND MY OFFER STILL STANDS 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
It's true, it takes a very secure and strong person to show such good technique! I'm a licenced hairstylist (been in the game for over 13 years). I'd be a fool not to take heed from your talents and learn more. Although I'm off for maternity, I felt like I was taking an advanced technique class from my own home! Thank you darlin, your video(s) gave/give me life chile!
By far the best channel for natural hair in youtube period. I have learned a lot watching your tutorial. I just did my 1st crotchet with pre_twisted hair. Now, I'm going to try with loose hair and probably do my own tutorial for talentless folks like me. If I can do it, anyone can. I'm a huge fan. Thanks again
I gotta re-braid my daughter's hair now. Watched this just before installing the crochet hair & was fed up with the big bulk in the back. This is pure awesomeness. Thank you!
Your braiding skills are outstanding! This braid pattern is beautiful. Beautifully done!!!! And your client has some beautiful hair. Thank you for sharing!!! Blessed be!
I appreciate all your videos and how much details you share these are the best classes on how to prefect crochet braids I love the fact your also a fellow Haitian I am a licensed cosmetologist and they don't teach us this in school thank you I look forward to all your videos
I just tried this pattern for my sister's hair, first time I've ever done it. Best braiding pattern ever! I've always had an issue getting the ends of her braids connected and flat, this turned out really flat and neat. Thanks for posting.
I must be watching your braid tutorials for the sheer enjoyment because there is no way I can duplicate it. Lol...You have God given unique talent! Awesome!
Lady U BAD!!!!! I Wana say thank you for showing ur skills, u truly helped me . Thank you Thank you God Bless You Heart . Cause everyone don't Wana share...
I love how you took your time and showed each detail on how you braided your clients hair! Thank you so much!! Can you do a tutorial on how to braid in a beehive pattern step by step!! Thank you so much I haven't come across a detailed video of that specific braid pattern my edges are thin and I'm trying to stay away from straight back braids to avoid tension on my hair line Thank you so much! Great video!!
I've got thin edges also, you're right, I think going across would be better, but how would that work for crochet braids I wonder? I can't imagine it. have you seen any styles with that base? very curious 😊
Yes it came out awesome there is someone that braided her hair in a beehive pattern but of course she did not show how she braided her hair but she showed how the hair layed when she installed the water wave crochet hair it was really nice it had a bang
I want to thank you so much for sharing your technique. Most beauticians would not do this because they are afraid they will loose money. I have not come across anyone in my area of the country that can do this and this will help me tremendously be able to do my own hair. I just need to get someone to braid my hair because I don't know how to braid but I can do the crochet without any problem. AGAIN, MANY THANKS!!
Omg yaaaaaas you're the first to show everything the whole pattern cause many ladies always skip how they connect the braid with the other one thsnk you soooo much love yo vids
My hair is so thick and long it's prevented me from enjoying a lot of amazing protective styles because of the bulky end results. This is hands down the best braid pattern approach I've ever seen. I will be trying this ASAP! Praying my results come out as neat lbs!
just amazing! i wasnt sure if i wanted to do twist or crochet, after looking at several of your videos, i feel confident i can do crochet!!! thank u for posting! You Rock!!!
I am not a good braider and I do not know how to part well. I followed your technique today and I am proud of myself. Thank you for showing me that I too can braid. It is not good as you, but I believe I will be better! Thank you for empowering me!
Girl, your hair doing game is ON POINT!!! I wish you could do my hair too!!! keep it up and thank you for teaching us through your tutorials, they are very elaborate and clear to follow!!! God bless you girl!
You are AWWWWWWEEEESOOOOOOME!!! I stumbled onto your video's and been hooked every since!!! Love everything that you do!!!!!!!!! I have to try this out!
Beauty your work is so nice and neat, I also braid hair as a side job but watching your tutorials and studying your work I believe I can do it full time now thank you
Thank you Beauty I use this braid pattern all the time. I also use it along with the illusion box braid pattern method. The more I do the pattern the better I get on myself. So thank you again 🥰
Thanks 4 shareing yr tutorials ,beautycanbraid, your d best your tutorials are on point n your hairstyles are on fleek am a hair stylists myself n i learn a lot from you so keep on doing what u do best .
OMG! This is awesome!! Thank you so so much for sharing. I was so hesitate to crochet because of the braiding pattern, I'm so happy I came across your page! #LifeSaver #Awesome 😊🤗
Apart from being tremendously talented your videos are quite thorough!!!! We appreciate that :D continue to grow in your field girl :) thanks for sharing!
You're a miracle worker. I'm gonna use this for my weave and wig base too coz the bump of cornrows at the back be unrealistic and I can't tie my hair up.
I've been doing this braid pattern for a while when i first began doing crochet on myself and customers. I didn't know it was like "a thing " i just thought it was the best way for myself so i did it. The only thing i don't like about it is it takes soooooo long to fill in all those braids. Soo i have started doing a different pattern and trying to get it just how i want it. It still gives fullness . Natural part, and less time on braiding and installation.
+PWells23 whats the different pattern that you speak of? do you have a picture or is there a video I can check out? I would rather not do all of those little braids at the top/front. Maybe I can do this technique w/o doing that? what do you think? Can I message you on google?
+branfan22 yes message me on Google . also beautycanbraid just did a video on the pattern I was describing. I'm also going to test out mzreddbone (or something like that) technique and see what I come up with
OMG, I would be all day trying to recreate this style... its beautiful but I think I will just go for the basic, since its hidden under the crochet twists!
Thank you for sharing your technique. I'm searching for a braiding pattern for thick long hair. So far the ones that I have tried leave too much bulk in the back.
Now see the way my struggle braids are set up..I’m not sure if they will allow me to add this into the rotation...but I am going to try it. Thank you for posting.
Bc it's unnatural to have a side or middle part that goes beyond the point where she criss crossed. It's to stop the part so it looks natural when the client styles her hair
WOW! YOU ARE SO VERY TALENTED. WHEN CAN I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT? I WILL FLY WHERE EVER YOU LIVE. THATS' WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!! GREAT HAIR STYLE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! I LIKE THE WAY YOU CONNECTED THE BRAIDS. BE BLESSED
Almost 3 years now, and still the best crochet braid pattern documented! Often my stylists argue, but I come back every time.

+Tracy Bell Thanks

You just made my life a thousand times better 😍😍😍
Good
Your braiding skills are crazy good!!!
Thanks
OMG, I would be all day trying to recreate this style... its beautiful but I think I will just go for the basic, since its hidden under the crochet twists!
Thank you for sharing your technique. I'm searching for a braiding pattern for thick long hair. So far the ones that I have tried leave too much bulk in the back.
You're welcome
very well explained..thank you. and thanks to your model..she got nice and beautiful hair..love it!!!
You're welcome
Now see the way my struggle braids are set up..I’m not sure if they will allow me to add this into the rotation...but I am going to try it. Thank you for posting.
So I have a question....what is the significance of doing the criss cross braids on top?
Middle and side parting, so it can look more natural when separating the hair
Bee Simms It's the same if you were to just join two cornrows into one as opposed to criss crossing.
Bc it's unnatural to have a side or middle part that goes beyond the point where she criss crossed. It's to stop the part so it looks natural when the client styles her hair
@herglory thank you, that makes COMPLETE sense
+HerGlory ok
I appreciate your tutorials. I love your work!!
Thanks
WOW! YOU ARE SO VERY TALENTED. WHEN CAN I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT? I WILL FLY WHERE EVER YOU LIVE. THATS' WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!! GREAT HAIR STYLE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! I LIKE THE WAY YOU CONNECTED THE BRAIDS. BE BLESSED
