Presley's voice was at it's peak in 1977. Sure there were some shows where he was a little off, but mostly his vocals were spot on in 77..

I remember what my Mom said to me, how would you like to have a voice like him and be able to sing to your special girl? Even though there's Elvis imitators still not everyone was able to sing like Elvis. Elvis Presley did justice to this song he was able to sing just about anything. Being that this is a cover by Frank Sinatra, how did old blue eyes feel about Elvis? Frank Sinatra was a man that didn't like Rock Music, he certainly didn't like the Beatles and their music. If Frank Sinatra watched or heard of this performance by Elvis, I hope he felt proud that someone with a great voice covered one of his songs.

His closing words were his final good bye to us because he knew his time was near. God communicated it to him and he communicated that to us who were listening but were not prepared for.
He was great until the end and this song is definitely him. It explains his life exactly. He was great even here when he was really really sick. 9 weeks later he was gone!

This is my favorite version of this song. Even at his worst, Elvis was the best. I wish I could have been around when Elvis was to meet him. It would've been a joy like no other.
Hes sang this many times. The drugs really messed him up.
