Bit late to the party but I'd argue Elegy is BiS for non Hydro comps at C0 because she just cant sustain her own burst. The team benefits so much more with the buff. This is untrue for C1 obv.
Yelan is a great support with elegy and a great sub dps with aqua IMO. My hutao's damage skyrocketed from 30k per one set of charge attack to 60-70k and I haven't even level up any of her talents yet, elegy is a joke. 🤣
Exactly, depends who you want to deal more damage with, Yelan or Hutao. Elegy = Hutao deals large damage, Aqua= Yelan deals more damage. But elegy also makes sure her burst is always up most of the time which is great too and you can run full HP artifacts. Aqua deals more elemental skill damage IMO, but you need lots of energy recharge on ur artifacts to cover her.
But pls guys wtf is a "support yelan" supposed to be when that bxtch hits 60k per E and 10k per ticks??? Like idk if it's me but it's basically the same, every "support Yelan" is kind of a "DPS Yelan" now idk if I should put Elegy or Aqua Simulacra on her with Hu Tao AAAAA

I have both and not sure which one to go with. My Yelan's C1 with R1 Aqua Simulacra but also have an R1 Elegy (not leveled). I like to run her with Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Zhongli or Yoimiya, Jean, Zhongli. I have around 180 ER with Aqua and at C1 getting her burst is not a problem. I think with Elegy, Yelan's burst ticks would be 2-3K lower but Hu Tao would do more dmg.
@@mewo6821 just try it out with both weapons on Masanori if you have both leveled up. I see a lot of content creators taking collective dumps on Aqua while ignoring the 20% dmg increase for wielder even if off-field effect. You also better have godly stats on your artifacts to make up for that 88% CD you're losing out on by not going with Aqua.

Raiden has the most expensive support which is C6 Sara, even whales has to be lucky to get, but once you get C6 Sara, you'll be surprised at how her damage will be. I have her C1 at my alt account and can't wait to C2 her hahaha.

double hydro is current meta. xinqiu + yelan with hu tao puts the entire game on easy mode. Kazuha is great but would give you more value if placed on another team.
Real quick, C1 and throughout you dont need EOSF, rock a 2 piece HOD, 2 piece Tenacity. Then use yelans aqua sim and do more damage since its literally tailored for her. Even then if you want to use the other for some reason. Yelans weapon gives insane overall value to any account. But aqua> elegy 100%
Oh wow, all this time my r2 elegy was sitting unleveled (losing in Homa banner), turns out Yelan will buff my C1 Hutao signficantly, now just gotta wait for her rerun.
when tartaglia attacks, it will give a mark and when an enemy that still has that mark dies it will cause hydro dmg area, (Does not disappear even if tartaglia is not in battle)

Good stuff! I run Yelan with Elegy and she's doing great so far. That extra EM and ATK the passive brings is doing a lot for my team comp.

Elegy and Yelan boosted my Hu Tao a ton. The ER is great and even if the bow doesn't increase her dmg, my Hu Tao deals about 10K more with charged

i use elegy and my hu tao does 70k-100k charged attacks consistently so idk what ur doing wrong w/ elegy LMAO elegy is just fine my guy

Hu Tao would really love EFTE Yelan. She literally benefits from both the EM and Attack buff.
