Han pasado los años que me termine de ver este anime y aún sigue posicionado como el mejor anime para mí. Sin duda una obra maestra desde su inicio hasta su glorioso final, el mejor final de un anime que he visto.
Just a little fact about the manga: In the manga, when Lelouch died, he actually saw all the things that happened, how all the problems became his doing, every changes in the world. It was seen that Lelouch got transported in heaven, or hell, let's just call it "nothingness". Everything there is just white, and he just keeps going forward, walking, finding anything, something, forever.
Even now, after all this time, I am too sad. This is the best ending for me, and I never get tired of Code Geass. It's for me the best manga/anime with snk. But I think the movie ruins the ending, and it's fan service.
Snk ending sucked. Partly bcoz eren was written as lelouch at the end. And also they made him a simp whereas he actually isn't a simp anywhere in the series
The movie is now canon. Move on now will ya. Code Geass sequels(if by any chance it does since they went as far as to revive lelouch) will now follow the movie storyline coz it expands the lore further now with the introduction of the Geass Fragments(also mentioned in Boukoku no Akito).

It even already has a sequel in the making following the Fukkatsu no Lelouch movie titled Code Geass: Dakkan no Z. Some of the characters there were also shown in the end of the Fukkatsu no Lelouch movie especially the end credits. I was wondering why Nunnaly saw Lelouch’s past/plan regarding Zero Requiem for quite a bit, but I realized that C.C. did the same thing to Lelouch during Season 1 when she had to show herself in front of Suzaku for the first time since episode 1 to save Lelouch. I’m assuming this meant that Lelouch had the Charles/V.V.’s codes by the time he died which was eventually backed up by the Resurrection movie
Nunnally saw nothing. Those images were non-diegetic, i.e. for the audience only. You can even it's not what Nunnally sees because she reacts BEFORE the images are shown! The reason she reacts is because Nunnally can sense the truth when she touches someone's hand. Nunnally's ability has been shown THREE times in the anime: twice with Suzaku and once with Alicia Lohmeyer. It's not geass related, it's just heightened senses from being blind. Lelouch didn't have Charles's code. The anime's lore makes that literally impossible. The show staff have officially confirmed that Lelouch is ndead and never had a code. as for the Resurrection movie, it's not canon. That's easily seen from the fact that in the movie Shirley is alive (she's dead in the anime!) The big difference between the alternate universe of the movies is that movie-C.C. couldn't accept Lelouch's death, while anime-C.C. does accept his wish for redemption through death. That's why movie-C.C. RESURRECTS Lelouch's corpse from the grave in the RESURRECTION movie. Also, no he doesn't have a code in the movie. The movie is very clear about this, movie-C.C. even explains he can't have a code because he still has a geass. Lelouch has a NEW power. We know that because Shamna (who has the same new power), gets geassed and dies, which is impossible if she had had a code. And Lelouch gets geassed in the movie's picture drama, impossible if Lelouch had had a code.

Simplemente es una buena escritura para Lelouch especialmente al final, mientras que para SNK su escritura pega un tremendo bajón prácticamente Eren dejo de ser el protagonista a ser un mero secundario. Ya el final no busca ser épico, memorable o tan siquiera ser coherente con su mundo. Simplemente busca ser un fanservice complaciente con su fandom.

Lo de Eren y Mikasa surge porque el fandom mayoritario les gusta ese ship y en Japón los ships tienen mucho peso en los consumidores. Incluso el mismo Autor menciono que el final fue cambiado porque la obra había alcanzado niveles de popularidad muy grande, si recuerdas el final original iba a ser lo del hombre con el bebe. Quizá hicieron pruebas y dio que ese final no favorecería las ventas y sacaron el final que tuvimos. Las mayores criticas del final vienen de Occidente, pero en términos monetarios occidente no representa casi nada para ellos, las quejas importan muy poco.

Because that scene is a fake. It's well known that that scene is fan made, created by trolls to fool gullible people. There never was a scene where the cart driver was Lelouch. During the epilogue she says she mourns his death but finds comfort knowing he died with a smile because he achieved his goal of world peace. If he were alive, she wouldn't say she's mourning him. The writers have even said the only reason the anime exists is because they wanted to create a story where the main character does evil and then redeems himself in the end through death.

It's well known that that scene is fan made, created by trolls to fool gullible people.
There never was a scene where the cart driver was Lelouch. You can see that with your own eyes, the original broadcast is still online. The fake one, with te cart driver being Lelouch, is only on shady channels on youtube.
On top of that, the anime creators themselves have oficially confirmed that Lelouch is truly dead in the anime and that he never had a code

On the 2009 DVD C.C. herself even confirms he's dead. During the epilogue she says she mourns his death but finds comfort knowing he died with a smile because he achieved his goal of world peace.
If he were alive, she wouldn't say she's mourning him.
The writers have even said the only reason the anime exists is because they wanted to create a story where the main character does evil and then redeems himself in the end through death.

Honestly it's a fucking crime to not include OST madder sky here. If anyone want to watch it again watch the original. Madder sky made this the most brilliant ending in all animes.

It's not under appreciated it's a cult classic. Barely anyone talks about it now because the discussion treads have been milked too death. If you ask any "old anime fans" about code geass, yu yu hakusho, and even inuyasha, they are all guaranteed to remember everything and experience a hit of nostalgia
