For the sequence from when Rider is about to bring out her Noble Phantasm: The animation production material footage shows layers from letters A to Q which means 16 LAYERS of animation (a standard action sequence would take around 7 layers) which is apparently humanly impossible for those with experience in animation. And it was all drawn the man himself, Nozomu Abe.

No one ever mentions anything about how good Ufotable's sound design is. Every hit and impact sounds so good, and the little sound effects for all their abilites just adds the icing on the cake.
This scene just shows how important the strength of a Master is, and how much of a joke Shinji was. In all of Rider's appearances in Fate and UBW (and earlier in this route), she was supplied with her power by Sakura, but controlled by Shinji, massively limiting her ability. Needless to say, she was less than impressive, even dying to a(n admittedly enhanced) human in UBW. At this point in Heaven's Feel, though, not only does she finally have full access to her connection to Sakura's mana, but it's when Sakura is at her strongest, and unlike the incarnated Saber Alter (also drawing from Sakura), Rider is still a full-fledged Servant.

Medusa and Her sisters were all Earthen Goddesses (not primordial goddesses, primordial gods are more powerful than the olympian gods like Chaos), goddesses not born of Olympian origin but existed on Earth, but even though they were goddesses, Euryale and Stheno were essentially powerless in terms of combat, Medusa being the only one with a defect that allowed her to fight against powerful beings that tried to kill them, hence why she looks much older than them, but as she continued fighting again, and again, killing one hero (the ancient greek definition of hero is wildly different from our current definition of hero) wannabe after another eventually made her more and more of a monster, becoming the great serpent Gorgon and losing herself, she ended up devouring her own sisters. Hence why she kinda loathes herself and is fond of Sakura, who has just about the same circumstances as she does. Medusa in her Rider form is the middle ground of her being a goddess of the Shapeless Isles and Gorgon, the Great Serpent that once terrorized Ancient Greece, with her losing more of her goddess core the more she becomes Gorgon.

It probably made more money due to demon slayer being a more recent anime that leads into the movie as a continuation/preparation for season 2, as opposed to Heaven's Feel where it's basically an entire anime plot condensed into a movie form. F/HF being a direct sequel to F/Zero also kinda makes it hard for people to understand what on earth was going on without watching F/Zero, whereas F/SN or F/UBW can function as a standalone movie due to its plot not heavily relying on what happened in F/Zero. Regardless, both were made by Ufotable so they still made buck for the beauty they created.
But demon slayer will die down, whereas fate series will be dug up after 50 years and still be a fucking banger. I mean, can we even get any better than this?
@@Zephanir You don't need to watch Zero to understand HF, Zero didn't even exist yet when HF was released. it's just Ufo condensed HF into 3 movies, which is nowhere near enough time for HF's story. They should've gone with the Kara no Kyoukai style, but I understand that it will take too much time to release a bunch of movies. VN is still the best medium for Fate. Anyways, Demon Slayer made more money because it is a more recent anime/manga, plus the fact that it is easily accessible, unlike Fate, which is very confusing for a person who wants to get into it. Fate is really popular in Japan but not that much in the whole world, while Demon Slayer is more popular overall. Fate has a better story though, Demon Slayer's ending was rushed sadly.

@@authorias2532 It is very easy if you know what to watch and start, but very difficult for beginners with no knowledge. Most of what you said is absolutely correct, to get into the core of Fate, you just need to watch the 3 routes of Fate/Stay Night first (Fate>UBW>HF), and then watch Zero because it is a prequel. Then you can watch any other Fate you like. But to truly experience Fate, you need to play the Visual Novel. If you start with the VN, then you can watch Zero and the Stay Night adaptations after, and then any of the other Fate spinoffs.
If people watched this and still don’t appreciate every animation production studio that despite having deadlines, full day schedules, and other things to worry about, making this kind of masterpiece as good as they can and still manage to make average-to-good-enough action sequences.....that would be a huge bummer

Rider was doing little damage to Salter and Salter barely hits Rider, They had to duke it out with their NP's Good thing MC is there. Rho Aias gave rider the defenses she needs.
I think it was said that Saber’s reflexes were too great for Riders speed. Ans whenever Rider attacks her speed decreases. The only reason she won was her Mystic Eyes which was able to put a pressure on her, her Noble Phantasm in order to create the opportunity for Shirou and Shirou’s Rhos Aias.
@@thebakalord the entire fight was a ruse for Saber to drop her guard down so the nail and chain could trap her long enough to use her Noble Phantasm and Shirou doing something to support her somehow. Saber only took 10% or less of the attack after all that effort

What's most impressive with Ufotable is that they can create this top tier animation while the characters remain on model and detailed. Not that shows like Mob Psycho 100 and Jujutsu Kaisen are bad, they are both shows with S tier animation, but if you go look at some of their fight sequences, to achieve fluidity and creativity they go off model a lot and will exaggerate body parts in certain sequences. It's huge props to the animation directors at Ufotable that do all the clean up and keep the characters so consistent across all the animated sequences.

I think you find more fluidity in shows like we talked about (JJK/Mob Psy) but again I think the fact that Ufotable bring incredibly fluid sequences while remaining on model is incredible. In the latest Heavens Feel 3 movie, this sequence by Hironori Tanaka is a really good example of that www.sakugabooru.com/post/show/151381 Obviously Tanaka is a freelancer but the SB and clean up is still done by Ufotable. Going around UBW / HF / DS especially, there's many other examples by Ufotable regulars and freelancers alike that show more of this. Also Ufotable bring in a different type of fluidity and movement with their top tier combination of 2D characters with 3D backgrounds (Lancer vs Assassin in Heavens Feel 1).
Here’s the thing, Mappa studio has done like 9 shows DURING quarantine with stellar animation. Ufotable made like, two movies. Ufotable is animation quality and basically nothing else. FSN has a really bad story overall
@@mr.stuffdoer8483 This never had anything to do with the story, and if we are talking about story then Mappa and God of Highschool story-wise was a train wreck. I think UBW is quite weak when it comes to fate but Heavens Feel and Fate/Zero are both strong stories. I wouldn't say overall that Mappa have stellar animation, they have some talented freelancers who do small incredible action segments on some episodes (keiichiro watanabe, hironori tanaka, tatsuya yoshihara as some examples of animators for jjk) but both their art style, animation and compositing isn't particularly top tier, at least for me and a lot of other people I talk to who also love animation. The main thing for me that is lacking is their compositing, a good example is Nanami vs Mahito in their first fight when Nanami goes into overtime and does his wind-up run into his punch. The way they integrated Nanami running on that floor was really bad, while the actual animation from Watanabe himself was stellar. It definitely got better as the show went on but yeah I wouldn't say that the overall image was absolutely stellar, and neither was AoT and its Final season. I think the Mappa action shows coming out this year will be their strongest yet, and I'm really looking forward to it.

I love how Fate writes it's fights, in a way that it doesn't feel cheap when "heroes" work together to beat a powerful enemy. Both Aias and Belerofon are established as not enough against Excalibur, here they are perfectly stacked together. Apocrypha had something similar with Karma vs Sieg/Astolfo + Akhilleus Kosmos
Guy in the top right makes this unwatchable... audio control definitely needed on people like him just blurting out every second instead of a natural reaction

Frames such as the one of Rider in 4:10 are quite interesting. It's not to dissimilar from looking out onto a scenery, just like when you start BotW and get out from the Chamber of Resurrection. It sets the stage in a way I can't put into words.

Rider was doing little damage to Salter and Salter barely hits Rider, They had to duke it out with their NP's Good thing MC is there. Rho Aias gave rider the defenses she needs.

I think it was said that Saber’s reflexes were too great for Riders speed. Ans whenever Rider attacks her speed decreases. The only reason she won was her Mystic Eyes which was able to put a pressure on her, her Noble Phantasm in order to create the opportunity for Shirou and Shirou’s Rhos Aias.
@@thebakalord the entire fight was a ruse for Saber to drop her guard down so the nail and chain could trap her long enough to use her Noble Phantasm and Shirou doing something to support her somehow. Saber only took 10% or less of the attack after all that effort

Ufotable rlly knows how to bring out that nasuverse into animation, ever since Kara No Kyoukai
What's most impressive with Ufotable is that they can create this top tier animation while the characters remain on model and detailed. Not that shows like Mob Psycho 100 and Jujutsu Kaisen are bad, they are both shows with S tier animation, but if you go look at some of their fight sequences, to achieve fluidity and creativity they go off model a lot and will exaggerate body parts in certain sequences. It's huge props to the animation directors at Ufotable that do all the clean up and keep the characters so consistent across all the animated sequences.
mobpsycho and jjk use sakuga instead. which is giving up details in exchange for fluid animation.

I think you find more fluidity in shows like we talked about (JJK/Mob Psy) but again I think the fact that Ufotable bring incredibly fluid sequences while remaining on model is incredible. In the latest Heavens Feel 3 movie, this sequence by Hironori Tanaka is a really good example of that www.sakugabooru.com/post/show/151381
Obviously Tanaka is a freelancer but the SB and clean up is still done by Ufotable. Going around UBW / HF / DS especially, there's many other examples by Ufotable regulars and freelancers alike that show more of this.
Also Ufotable bring in a different type of fluidity and movement with their top tier combination of 2D characters with 3D backgrounds (Lancer vs Assassin in Heavens Feel 1).
Here’s the thing, Mappa studio has done like 9 shows DURING quarantine with stellar animation. Ufotable made like, two movies. Ufotable is animation quality and basically nothing else. FSN has a really bad story overall
@@mr.stuffdoer8483 This never had anything to do with the story, and if we are talking about story then Mappa and God of Highschool story-wise was a train wreck. I think UBW is quite weak when it comes to fate but Heavens Feel and Fate/Zero are both strong stories. I wouldn't say overall that Mappa have stellar animation, they have some talented freelancers who do small incredible action segments on some episodes (keiichiro watanabe, hironori tanaka, tatsuya yoshihara as some examples of animators for jjk) but both their art style, animation and compositing isn't particularly top tier, at least for me and a lot of other people I talk to who also love animation.
The main thing for me that is lacking is their compositing, a good example is Nanami vs Mahito in their first fight when Nanami goes into overtime and does his wind-up run into his punch. The way they integrated Nanami running on that floor was really bad, while the actual animation from Watanabe himself was stellar. It definitely got better as the show went on but yeah I wouldn't say that the overall image was absolutely stellar, and neither was AoT and its Final season. I think the Mappa action shows coming out this year will be their strongest yet, and I'm really looking forward to it.

Also MAPPA is 10x the bigger studio staff than Ufotable and MAPPA freelance their shows unlike Ufo.
Bro's work of ufotable is immense and so clean please look at that fight sequence indisputably far superior in animation .

セイバーの強さは圧倒的な魔力貯蔵とアヴァロンの無限の回復力。無印でもエクスカリバー連発してるし普通のマスターならインドやメソポタミアのサーヴァント達との差もないぞ。実際カルナとかも燃費悪すぎでセイバーほどの貯蔵はないから士郎と組めば何も出来ずに終わる。
This is exactly why I wish that no one else but Ufotable direct Solo Levelling anime (when or if it's even announced).

Frames such as the one of Rider in 4:10 are quite interesting.
It's not to dissimilar from looking out onto a scenery, just like when you start BotW and get out from the Chamber of Resurrection. It sets the stage in a way I can't put into words.
