All my friends think supplements are a waste of money, and they think it’s “expensive.” They keep telling me that food is all I need. I don’t see how it’s expensive. I spend $15 dollar for Scivation Quake 10.0 preworkout that has 40 servings. It has a serving of BCAA in it too. That can literary last me 60 days depending on when I feel like taking a preworkout. 80 servings of Creatine is $9 is nothing. I just go to Costco’s to buy their combat protein that is $35 dollar for 7 pounds. This route that I go isn’t expensive really. I see some benefits from these supplements. It’s not meant to be a replacement for nutrition

I haven't been using any supplements I just eat 4-6 smaller meals a day and my benched has jumped 30 lbs in 2 months. For people my age it takes time to get strong and big I've finally realized it a couple months ago. (I'm not bashing supplements I'm just saying you don't necessarily need them when just getting into lifting) Listen to your body also. I play football I don't lifting during season because it will over exhaust my body. Get on a good program and stay humble don't ego lift. The weight will come. Hope the best for everyone!

Don't lift at 13, do calisthenics until youre 16. It wont directly atunt your growth, its zomething about your growth plates and stuff. That they arent protected and are still open until that age, making them easy to damage which can cause stunted growth and many problems when you are older. Its easy to get injured lifting weights as compared to body weight so, atm body weight is the way to go
You can lift. Just don't lift super heavy. It WILL stunt your growth. Also it's all about genetics. I started lifting heavy at 17 and I'm 21 now. I'm 6'2 tall.

With regards to creatine timing you are half right studies show that timing isn’t essential like you have stated however they have also shown you need to take it with a carb source that will spike an insulin release so that it can be absorbed and utilised by the body. Other than that great video!
My parents are the people that think every supplement will make my kidney explode. I was only allowed to take protein powder for the longest time, but the other day, I finally got the green light for pre workout too. I still can’t take creatine or any others.

if you weigh alot that can play a factor or if you take it 5 to 6 days a week for months, your body becomes almost immune to it and you stop feeling it. take a break from it and just workout without it for a few weeks then try again.

Warmy It has L-carnitine, vitamins, and caffeine which is always good for a pre workout, but it has way too much sodium and Inositol, which increases skin cancer, so yeah, not the best choice but better than soda (also of course a lot of acid depending on the type of monster you get)

John Serrano Strength and size = lift heavy and high intensity Trying to slim down and get muscular = cardio and 65% intensity in weights Everything else is pure opinion and relies on your body and genetics. Basically, if you think you can handle it, you probably can.
In the following weeks I noticed it was harder to get those last 1 or 2 reps up, sometimes I couldn't complete the heavy sets I previously could for the last few reps. But mostly it was okay and i can still lift heavy. As for how I look, the water weight has definitely come off. I estimate I put on around 5-10 pounds of water weight. It bloated me up quite nicely, as it's designed to do of course with the increased uptake of fluids into muscles. It was too much weight for me though, I couldn't fit into my dress pants which I previously could fit into even when I wasn't working out and was heavier. I was taking creatine for around 4 months when I stopped, it helped me push out more reps and get stronger, but to me it wasn't worth the extra water weight I put on and how my body responded. Maybe yours won't put so much on, he should have included that as a warning in this video though.

If you don't compete you really don't need it esp' if you are not paying attention to how much is in your pre-workout, most pre-workout has 2-3g of Creatine and a Scoop of Creatine is normally about 4g so that would put you over 5g.... yes it does make you hold water and that is why you can lift more, there is more water around your joints and muscles putting you at a higher body weight helping you move more weight, the goal is to use it to get more volume in and build mass so when you cut you will have hopefuly gained more muscle from moving heavier weight. I cycle on and off Creatine and pre-workout by the season. When I cut for my show i come off of both completely, and the a day out switch to sips.... then take a pump product 30min b4 the stage. Then carry my trophies home

Not much stuff here. Creatine is cheap, $30 gets you 300 servings from optimum nutrition (the brand he recommended) multivitamin is cheap.. The only expensive items here are protein and pre workout. And with a stable job.. I can assure you these are not expensive. I pay $32 for a 30 serving preworkout. $1 dollar a scoop... $50 for 76 servings on my protein.. not bad.

The actual reason that they banned it is not because of soldiers, USP labs is completely shut down and to my full understanding they have had charges pressed against the. the stubstance DMAA which was from china(or somewhere like that) was causing liver failure and not only in their preworkout. they also had it in the fat burners. so now many people with all kinds of goals are taking this product which just so happened to cause liver failure. Only know this info due to I work at a GNC. I am glad they are banned and supplement companies should be finding healthy ways to fuel people given we are all in it for our health.
Hey, not all fat burners supes your appetite. if you are able to obtain Neutrabolics Thermal XTC, it'll help, and especially your needs. though I do warn that you will find 'control overcravings' as such. it's a solid and dependable brand. I also recommend Hydro Pure protein (low calories and decent protein amount) or Mass Gainer (can't quite remember the exact name and if you are looking to pack on bazooka size muscles). Plus, don't take protein as a replacement meal because most lack those other nutrients you need. taking Pre-workout outs is fine unless you stay on or just a bit over the recommended amount and as for protein, you can take it either, when you wake up/before bed/, before and after work outs(for a lot they think that taking it before does shit all but they are sadly mistaken). I'd recommend if you actually look up concrete facts from nutritionists or any type of professional (not saying David Laid doesn't know what he is talking about) but I recommend anyone that actually studies the Holy hell for a career!

Trying to slim down and get muscular = cardio and 65% intensity in weights
Everything else is pure opinion and relies on your body and genetics. Basically, if you think you can handle it, you probably can.

i stopped the creatine monohydrate, too much water weight gained.
how did it affect you? can you lift less? do you look smaller?
In the following weeks I noticed it was harder to get those last 1 or 2 reps up, sometimes I couldn't complete the heavy sets I previously could for the last few reps. But mostly it was okay and i can still lift heavy.
As for how I look, the water weight has definitely come off. I estimate I put on around 5-10 pounds of water weight. It bloated me up quite nicely, as it's designed to do of course with the increased uptake of fluids into muscles. It was too much weight for me though, I couldn't fit into my dress pants which I previously could fit into even when I wasn't working out and was heavier.
I was taking creatine for around 4 months when I stopped, it helped me push out more reps and get stronger, but to me it wasn't worth the extra water weight I put on and how my body responded. Maybe yours won't put so much on, he should have included that as a warning in this video though.

If you don't compete you really don't need it esp' if you are not paying attention to how much is in your pre-workout, most pre-workout has 2-3g of Creatine and a Scoop of Creatine is normally about 4g so that would put you over 5g.... yes it does make you hold water and that is why you can lift more, there is more water around your joints and muscles putting you at a higher body weight helping you move more weight, the goal is to use it to get more volume in and build mass so when you cut you will have hopefuly gained more muscle from moving heavier weight. I cycle on and off Creatine and pre-workout by the season. When I cut for my show i come off of both completely, and the a day out switch to sips.... then take a pump product 30min b4 the stage. Then carry my trophies home

The supplement companies love people like this. Tons of money going down the drain. I think he could accomplish his goals without throwing away so much money on this stuff. Don't believe the hype.
Not much stuff here. Creatine is cheap, $30 gets you 300 servings from optimum nutrition (the brand he recommended) multivitamin is cheap.. The only expensive items here are protein and pre workout. And with a stable job.. I can assure you these are not expensive. I pay $32 for a 30 serving preworkout. $1 dollar a scoop... $50 for 76 servings on my protein.. not bad.

The actual reason that they banned it is not because of soldiers, USP labs is completely shut down and to my full understanding they have had charges pressed against the. the stubstance DMAA which was from china(or somewhere like that) was causing liver failure and not only in their preworkout. they also had it in the fat burners. so now many people with all kinds of goals are taking this product which just so happened to cause liver failure. Only know this info due to I work at a GNC. I am glad they are banned and supplement companies should be finding healthy ways to fuel people given we are all in it for our health.

Hey, not all fat burners supes your appetite. if you are able to obtain Neutrabolics Thermal XTC, it'll help, and especially your needs. though I do warn that you will find 'control overcravings' as such. it's a solid and dependable brand. I also recommend Hydro Pure protein (low calories and decent protein amount) or Mass Gainer (can't quite remember the exact name and if you are looking to pack on bazooka size muscles). Plus, don't take protein as a replacement meal because most lack those other nutrients you need. taking Pre-workout outs is fine unless you stay on or just a bit over the recommended amount and as for protein, you can take it either, when you wake up/before bed/, before and after work outs(for a lot they think that taking it before does shit all but they are sadly mistaken). I'd recommend if you actually look up concrete facts from nutritionists or any type of professional (not saying David Laid doesn't know what he is talking about) but I recommend anyone that actually studies the Holy hell for a career!
