To all the people comparing the cost to the Felony, this car comes with what Horizon would charge almost $300 in batteries and a charger. Therefore the equivalent Horizon products would cost $939.98 MSRP compared to $647.99 MSRP or roughly $600 with the RCKiwis' discount.
That said I'd personally always go for a roller/kit anyways.

That said I'd still go with a felony at That price. As someone who owns a couple banggood cars I hate waiting 2 months for parts when needed. Can't put a price on that
Pretty sure the hand brake is to initiate a drift, a la Ken Block's Gymkana styles.
The ESC brake will work better, because it affects both front and rear. And when you brake weight transfers to the front, and hence why front brakes are bigger/stronger on cars/motorcycles

As a felony owner I’m a bit biased. But it looks cool although those rims are ugly lol.
they look pretty close to ken block’s mustang. what bothers me the most is the fitment tho, it’s so high up out of the box
i had a pretty bad experience with zd racing i do not recommend it

@@jauzaafaishalahmadpadmadis3846 I got a 9104 zd racing ZTX thunder and the chassis snapped in half from a little hit , the plastics are way too weak, the back plastic suspension arms are now bent. Maybe this RC model is way better, it better be for 5 times the price. That was my experience, if I ever get a different RC car I will most likely get a traxxas or arrma.
So ugly! I agree that would be first thing I changed for sure. Maybe even just paint them black or silver

Ok so I stand corrected,once I learnt about the ESC catching fire I cancelled my order for the EXO7...and I bought the FELONY let me just say I have it now 2weeks no problem with it what so ever so Joe and Amber once again THANK YOU FOR YOUR HONEST REVIEWS!!!!!

@@TheRcKiwis just to let you know on 6s 5000ma 50c on 100% power i get 35mins continuous power run time.... on 75% power I get 50mins runtime thats with new Voltz batteries... man I can't stop using this thing! Once again THANK YOU ❤ ❤❤

I first ran this car inside my house guys and I had to clean my floors from rubber marks those sticky tires on the car left.

Awesome video as always. Looks an amazing car. I'm pleased you voiced your opinion on Spektrum lipos, I'm not bashing Horizon or any other channels that feature them but you very rarely here anyone say anything bad. I haven't used them personally and I'm sure they are really good with all the smart technology etc. But for people on a budget Spektrum are too expensive. Its great you both give an honest opinion which is why I watch your channel. Keep up the great work..

Not supposed to use both breaks at the same time that’s why it’s hard to do.......... Also.... the break that’s “ not on the esc” is NOT FOR STOPPING the car..... it’s ONLY for drifting.... it’s supposed to be used like a hand break in a real drift car not for stopping the car! The only break you are supposed to stop the rc with is the normal breaks

I purchased two spectrum 3s 50c smart batteries, only used them in my Sonicwake 36. One went bad after 3 weeks and only 6 cycles. The second one went bad while in storage charge. I've replaced them with the 100c 3s spectrum batteries. Not looking to spend 150+ per battery with no guarantees they will last. My power hobby batteries and ovonic still work great with me using them in my bashers.

Great video guys! But that car is garbage man. It's got a £30 surpass ESC that's 6s not 8s like it says? I killed one on 6s in like 10 minutes. The body is the old non turbo version of hoonicorn from like over 2 years ago so it doesn't even look the same? And I guarantee as soon as you hit a kurb the wheels will blow off in true zd racing style! It does look bloody good tho👍🏻Thing is absolutely everybody will compare it to the infraction or the felony and for it to be worth buying over them it would have to be at least half the price. Maybe the roller might be worth looking at because you could at least put decent electronics in. Great video guys 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

if the esc brake and reverse were disabled completely and then mix the reverse to initiate brake servos through another channel when you push throttle forward. this could work wonderfully. youll need another rx tx system.
A 3 mm chassis on a car that large is not thick.

I think it's best to use the ESC for normal braking (should also charge the battery a bit through regenerative braking) and the mechanical brae should be modded for only rear brakes.
