That's a pretty badass looking car! I have a ZD 1/8 truggy that's like 20 years old. I love it! But I'd really love to get my hands on one of these 07's. On a side note, I think it would be a much better view for all of us in RUclips land if you had the camera maybe 1 foot higher kind of pointing down at you and the car.
Audio sounds fine. Sorry to hear you lost the microphone. I thought I left mine on a curbside, but daughter found it in my car. Didn't realize you had a day job. Thanks for all your videos. Been following you for years.
I’ve been a professional bicycle mechanics since 1998 I really enjoy your bicycle content. Also really into the RC world I usually comet from my other channel large scale life keep up the good work have fun out there we’re all going to get our butts kicked by the parts shortage in the bike world
You're in good, sensible & safe hands with this guy & his channel. I got into this awesome hobby about 2 & a half years ago & this guy helped me out then too.! If you ever think that you're not going to bother getting an RC, STOP.!!! DO IT.! BUY AN RC.!! You definitely will not regret it.! I'm addicted now, I've gone from buying 1 RC to try it out, to now owning over 20 & I'm currently working on saving a few hundred pounds to get my latest one. My spare room has been transformed into a full on workshop & I get sooooo much enjoyment, satisfaction, self fulfilment & JOY from this hobby.! I hardly ever got out the house for exercise & had put on more than a few extra pounds, but now I'm getting out I've lost weight, my depression is better & my overall outlook on life is better.! Do yourself tge best favour you ever will & get into RC.! Stay safe out there & best wishes from Scotland 🏴 🙏 ❤️ 📻 🕹️ 🔋 🏎️ 🚓 🚔 🚖 🚗 🚙.!
Seems like a pretty well built RC. Some oven cleaner will take that chrome right off, just make sure the plastic underneath is black before you do it. Would look much better with no exhaust or stickers and a black cage and wheels.
It’s going to have to be bullet proof at that price range, so many good vehicles that are proven already exist at same price point. Lets see how it does I guess? Nice vid Francis as always!
Agree 100%. The DBX10 was not bulletproof for sure. I broke a couple things and parts were hard to get. I love the vehicle but these issues are bothersome.
I have the DBX10 and I've got to say I'm really pleased with it, yes you have to go through and check things but for a beginner it's great, gives you a bit of wrenching experience 😉
At 450, you could be looking at a 6S Kraton EXB roller or the RTR at 650. Parts would at least be available locally if your shop carries them, or with faster local shipping. I suppose this is cheaper than a Fireteam or Losi Super Rock Rey, but it's the price range of other very fast and capable RCs. Curious to see how it performs
Best buggy 1/7 scale is Team Corally asuga ! The asuga is a beast of a car !!! over 11 pound car. So its heavy. out of the box does 55mph and if you modify RC it will do over 65mph.
im watching your video i have question if the metal differential cup are compatible on rear differential if i put my metal cup differential on the rear or front?what do you think?
A year later, how's it going? Been thinking of upgrading from my dbx10, which has been great. Looking at Vorza and Typhon, but really like the dbx07. Need help deciding
I had seriously considered the 10 scale version, the price is unbelievable but parts availability not good. If they would focus on support for the buggy, I'd be in. May just get it anyway and wait and see. Thanks Francis.
My husband ordered this no manual in how to use other than a replacement part manual any help you can give would be great!! He put the batteries in the car took off and hit him we had to pull the pins to turn the switch off to get the car to stop???
These ZD Racing do look good but the quality are quite poor for the price. On the DBX 10, Shocks are too soft as on yours. The ESC pretty much a throw away. Touching the brakes would flip the car over and adjusting the brake strength made no difference. Ended up replacing it with a Hobbywing ESC. Overall not a nice buggy to drive at all. Not a good purchase. Saw few reviews of the DBX 10 before I bought mine but none of them had mentioned the 2 issues I had and all liked the vehicle.
I own both...go with the Gen 8. Alot of parts and aftermarket support for the Gen 8. I like the ability to lock and unlock diffs, but the servo has given me trouble and truthfully i don't lock/unlock them or change gears too much..
Yeah that was my worries about the servos and wanted something that's gonna run and last out the box. I'm happy I went with the gen8, thanks for your input sure appreciate it
They're raising their game for sure! The progress is good to see. Unfortunately, the seem to raise their pricing too quickly. They price it high if they think folks will buy and close it out later. Really should position themselves in value for now and try to over-deliver.
@@RCReviewChannel In my opinion the boom in Cina sells was originated from very low prices for a lower but acceptable quality. Higher prices and quality put them at the level of the American and European factory so the game became more difficult. The economical grow will slow down... if the price is quite the same and quality is better but to be tested I, for sure, prefer Traxxas or Arma......Thank you for answering and Ciao!
I had a ZD Racing brushless 1/8 buggy, I only bought it because I found it NIB reduced to $175. Quality is a very poor. Look at this one, he's showing you the assembly is bad.! DONT BUY!
Thank you for letting me know, I live in Thailand I am trying to find an FPV RC here to build. China ones are the only ones I can really buy though. You saved me a huge headache. 🙏
zd racing DBX 10 It's not worth it for $300 because. Put another $100 you can buy a really good RC car, like the Traxxas Rustler.... I don't say this is not a good car. it's a nice car but that kind of money is too expensive for Chinese car... I would rather go fo r Traxxas Rustler for that money... 😊

The mic sounds good enough! The channel still has its usual polish and professional look and feel. I hope the wireless one turns up!
It did just turn up!!! It was on a chair that was tucked under the work table! 5 days of searching so it feels like treasure.

A great upgrade would be to upgrade the front arms because I broke them very easily on my dbx-10 and since the metal ones I havnt broken it
Where are you getting parts for the Dbx10? I had a chance to buy it cheap, for 200Usd brushless. But I didn't because I was worried about parts.

Where can you get parts for it?
This seems closer in design to the Lasernut, which I love
Looks good but getting parts is a bit of a pain from that i know , i would get FTX DR8 instead .
Best buggy 1/7 scale is Team Corally asuga ! The asuga is a beast of a car !!! over 11 pound car. So its heavy. out of the box does 55mph and if you modify RC it will do over 65mph.
Have some one snap the metal bar in the upper arm already, but surprisingly the plastic is intact....
A SCX6 is cheaper then the XMAXX you have, so maybe a look/review. You can borrow one yea ?

I got my dbx10 a year ago and parts are east to get.
Pleaseeeee do unboxing off Rgt ex 86190... I trust only you!

Can you say where you bought that car stand? I've been looking for a heavyweight car stand for my fifth-scale vehicles and, thus far, can't find one.
Hey dude , how's is the 1/7 dbx07 after all this time is it robust as?? :D cheers from Down under Mate :D
I wonder what else those tires would look good on? Fireteam? Mojave? I’m curious
What is your opinion of the zd racing ex07?
650? Why would I buy this for that price when I can get Kraton exb for same amount?
True. Kraton EXB roller is $470 here snp.link/6e25c479
Do a thorough bash on this I’ve been looking at this for a bit
will most definitely deliver the beatdown
How available are the spare parts available in the U.S.A ?
Nice!
Great just bought one
Could those wheels/tires fit on a traxxas UDR?
price is good but i would prever parts availability like traxxas
Wow. This is a nice looking vehicle!
glad you like it

Yeah the RTR does not have a worthy radio and esc. Motor looks fairly generic.
Have a quick question but not about this rc. Out of the redcat gen8 and the cross emo at4, which one would be better and what you would prefer?
Cross EMO AT4 is way better I think. The gen8 has better aftermarket support.
Thank you sure appreciate and keep up the good work

There are alot of parts on Aliexpress...not so many on Bangood
@@dagkirk ZD Racing does have a site. just a fyi

Front looks like Johnny 5....no disassemble jonny 5
Camera с верху бы вообще не помешала .

ZD Racing will never be as durable longterm as an Arrma or Traxxas hence the price point. Nice tyres though. 😁

Looks like a bad copy of the lasernut
