- In the video Erica and hike to secret rock house at the base of Mount Magazine. We find waterfalls along a creek and enjoy a quick afternoon snack. We then go to the top of Mount Magazine and stay at a lodge room within the state park. The next day we hike to the highest point in Arkansas on a very cold February day.

Mt. Magazine Lodge looks really nice. My husband and I were in the Mena area for the eclipse in April and had the chance to visit Queen Wilhelmina Lodge for lunch one day. The food was delicious and the views were beautiful. That was our first visit to your beautiful state. We see why you guys, as well as Cody and Kellie, love it so much.

The separate cabins are pretty awesome, with hot tubs on the decks. They have grills so it’s nice to take steaks and wine.

Great video! My wife and I try to retreat to Mt. Magazine every year for our anniversary. We have some great memories there and in Arkansas in general. As much as we visited there, we had no idea about the little shelter!
