    When talking about a person's appearance, I think that a reduplicated adjective usually implies some kind of cuteness or endearment. I'm not sure about this. But it may be better to avoid it when talking about serious adults, and use it mainly for children or charming adults.

      Yes, it is so in most cases, but not always. For example, if someone say 他个子高高的,it may or may not imply endearment.
