    Thanks a lot. It made some sentences I picked up when listening to ppl speak a lot clearer! Just to clarify: the structure “ni you mei you verb guo” means “Have you ever .....” ? Thx again

      Yes, "nǐ yǒu méi yǒu + verb+ guò" means "Have you ever…".

    what is the difference between bang (帮) and bangzhu (帮助)?

      帮 is a verb meaning "to help", 帮助 can be a noun (the help) or a verb having the same meaning as 帮.

      Only the second one, if you put a word "很" before "简单", that would be more natural. Or another way saying it is: 汉语简不简单?
