I use a detailed brush to perfect the cuticle area sometimes depends on the product. You always do a nice job on your nails and explain things so well!
I subbed because of the attention to detail. You have gorgeous hands btw.
I always struggled using builder gel and it always turned out horrible and unequal no matter how much finish filing a did. I tried your method in letting the gel ‘blob’ at the end of the brush and OMG it worked perfectly with no harsh finish filing required (just the usual quick tidy up). So sending a huge thank you your way all the way from South Wales 🏴 in the UK x
When my mum was alive she had beautiful natural nails 💅🏻 mine never grew like that always split and brake off but even worse now so thin from using cheap acrylics and to much over filling your nails 💅🏻 are so beautiful 😍 xxxxxx🥰🥰🥰🥰❤️

Edit: I just looked up the tools and wow they are pricey! Too much for me but for anyone looking they are called Navy Pro Tools.
I loved how natural these came out, I wish I could shape my nails that easily. I'm currently trying to use dip since I don't have the space needed for gel where I am now but last time I had to soak everything off because of bad lifting. Can you list the golden tools in the description box because they were upside down in the video!

New subscriber one question why does it burns so bad when I put my mail under the Melody Susie lamp I did only twice finger I couldn’t handle more pain
That’s because it’s going from gel to a solid you need to flash cure it a couple of times. So in 2 seconds out 2 second back in ect until no more burn. Never leave it in burning, that would hurt way to back

Whenever I do this myself my natural nail starts "peeling" off under the gel. Its not lifting, but the ends of my nails literally start getting loose and I have to peel that away. Do you have any tips for that?
I would try using a primer like the young nails protein bond, I also like the gelish foundation gel because you can scrub it into the nail plate. Also make sure you are capping that free edge with every step. This might be silly but use cuticle oil under your free edge (after the gel is applied) because the nails are dry. Try using gloves when in water like for washing dishes and cleaning

I'm a nail tech in Ohio. I suggest you find a place that offers gel x extensions. They would definitely have the builder gel. I'm gonna start offering this myself! Thanks Vanessa's Nails for the instructions!!!!
