Have done all the steps severa times, roomba says it's connected, wifi signal icon on roomba is solid white (so it is connected) but Irobot home app it always hangs on the final step which is connecting to my wifi for several minutes until irobot turns off and app says could not connect. I am on 2.4 GHz network, did reset roomba, still didn't work, forced closed Irobot HOME 1000 times, did all the steps and it always ends up hanging on connecting to wifi. Looks like roomba is connected (otherwise there wouldn't be a soid white or silver wifi icon on), there is a probem between Irobot home app to compete final connecting to wifi step, so I cannot use it at al. ANy idea? Tnx
@A rose is a rose All steps went well, robot found, robot connected voice from robot, light form blinking green to solid white (which means it is actualy connected), amost all connection steps went well, it just gets stuck on final step of connecting to home wifi. When force stoping the app and trying again (with solid wifi light on robot on), the app should find the robot by itsef (searchin for robots thingy), but it doesn't, which means the final step is missing to add the robot to its library. Have tried from scratch 20 times, same ending - stuck on final step of connecting to home wifi. I'm out of ideas.
@@heathersamonski471 Yes, I downloaded version 5.6.0 (the only one worked without problems, others just wouldn't connect) and never upgraded since. Try it out, or try different version. Hope it helps.
hi I have a roomba 760 and when I tried to connect it, it didn’t make the beep noise that yours made and on the irobot app it says the 700 series is wifi compatible now does anyone know why it’s not working?

When you open the robot and you have that slide button for charging, next to him is a tiny white button, you press it for a few seconds and then after pressing it ypu should hear two beeps. Try that. Before that I reinstalled the app with a new account. It was also the problem because of my country ( Bosnia) I guess it isn't suported here, so I installed it with a country where I bought it (Slovenia) and it works now. I hope you make it too. 😊
On the “connect Roomba to Wi-Fi screen”, my network doesn’t show up…I’ve reset it a bunch of times, force shut down the app, updated my phone’s software and restarted it but still nothing. Any ideas?
@@abelornelas24 I did all the above and even updated my iOS, deleted the app and reinstalled. Then I moved my docking station closer to my router and it finally showed the Wi-Fi network so it works now.
@@martaalo After deleting the app, updating my iOS and resetting the Roomba, the thing that seemed to work for me was moving my docking station closer to my internet router.
@@martaalo yes I got it solved. So the easiest way to do it is to log in to your router. The page is on the back of your router. Once’s logged in turn on the guest wifi. The guest wifi will automatically connect to the 2.4 ghz wifi instead of the 5g. One you connect to the guest wifi you’ll be able to set it up

my set up is stuck on connecting to your robot. it's been over 6 min so far. I already x'd out and started over so this is the 2nd try. Advice please?

I had the same problem and realized my problem was in my phone settings. Not my router

I have a 770 series does it have wifi?
Can we not put the map of our house in the app and the Roomba first cleans the borders of the whole house and then everything in between ?
