@@alveirtus1501 I am inclined to believe the women first. They have no reason the go through public humiliation other than to free themselves from abuse. Unless you can some up with a specific instance in which a specific woman is abusive (separate from setting a boundary from the husband/father, who abused her), this claim is absurd. We live in America. Secular court is there for a reason. And it's not forbidden in Halacha; it was manipulated to be interpreted that way by the men who control the ultra-orthodox community.
This is actually beyond sickening. I am so sorry to hear this. I am sorry for this woman & any other woman experiencing this. I’ve heard of this and quite honestly without proof only HaShem can judge. But this is not acceptable!
