Hey Great Video! When you took the down pipe off to relocate the EBP sensor how did you remove the old pipe without lifting the cab...will it come out without using a sawzall? Thanks
Unfortunately, no. Not without a little sawzall surgery. You can cut just above the drivers valve cover and below and it should come out. They ARE however, relatively cheap to replace if you ever want to put it back to stock and to be completely honest, I recommend a new one anyhow. Especially if you been rippin around the trail without a cooler and deleted for awhile.
@@stevef545 Wellllllll.....I didn't. I did end up draining the radiator and taking the top hose off, which isn't that big of a deal other than the coolant is around the cost of a mortgage payment.
Are you familiar with the H@s tunner I did EGR and DPF delete on the 0 nine F2 50 I don’t know what I did wrong but I deleted all that and then I put the programmer on there before I even tried starting it but I guess the alarm system is on or some thing that it won’t let me start it and my tuner froze on turn key forward do not start vehicle position
First of all thank you for serving are country and making this video I have a 2010 6.4 that I am overhauling I am deleting my EGR do you need to get a tuner for this repairer and do you have a video on catalytic converter exhaust delete and will tuner work for this as well .
Any time you remove any portion of the EGR system, be it the EGR Valve, Coolers or DPF you need a programmer. The truck will look for signals from these and go into a limp mode of sorts without one. I will caution though, that driving the truck on public streets after taking these off is illegal. If your truck is off road use only, then go ahead! I do have a video on cat delete, its HERE: ruclips.net/video/TzbLjH4lmfQ/видео.html
Omg that was fpita!!!!. 8 hrs im sore all over. Not a single godamm accesessble bolt. And i still have to install the block plate with the ebp sensor in new location which snapped off in old exhaust pipe. My arms look like they been run over a cheese grater removing the exhaust pipe bolts. If i was a mechanic i would say no if a customer asked me to do thus job again.what a joke all that crap was even on this engine.
Dude do you full time in a 5th wheel? I'm looking at buying an 08 f350 king ranch with a 6.4 and your videos keep popping up. I full timed in my travel trailer for 2 years at mcchord when I moved there and in getting ready to pcs again so upgrading all my equipment.
Can't believe that this system is an approved emission control system with the regen and lack of fuel economy then the catastrophic engine damage that will occur. Is bill💩
Hey man, I have more than a couple questions on an EGR/DPF delete I’m fixin to do to an 09 F-250 I recently got that allready had the tuner installed with custom tunes loaded but never used. Any way I can reach you beyond RUclips for some help? - Sgt, USAF
The Bully Dog tuner will NOT work with an EGR delete. It pretends that everything is fine as you go through the install, but the second time you try to start the engine, it locks you out and wont let the engine start. Don't waste your time!
Is the truck still running?. Have u had any problems with your exhaust bypass pipe where u attached the block off plate?. Ive seen may videos where pipe cracked because lower cooler wasnt supporting it anymore
Runs like an absolute beast. Oil is cleaner at oil change too. No issues whatsoever, as a matter of fact I have sent the oil in for analysis a few times at Blackstone Labs and it gets excellent reports back. No cracks because I ended up removing the pipe and blocking it off behind the turbo.
@@USAF99 right. That is where im going to block it off tommorw. I love this truck its unfourtunate they get such a bad rap. I bought mine off a ret. Sgt maj army down in virginia.
Good info, I'll be doing mine real soon.

@@USAF99 Hey thanks for the reply. How the F... did you get the upper EGR cooler out without removing the upper radiator hose?

It will all be worth it when your truck is still going strong at 800k.
Do u have to tune just the egr delete ?
Yes. Any removal of emissions sensors requires tuning and acceptance that it will be off road only.

Nah, it's just always in the background because I use it a lot. Until my shop is finished, I do all my videos in my driveway where it's parked.
Does the tuner come with the kit?
I wish. No, you'll have to buy a tuner separately.
Mine is the MINNI MAX II now taken over by Bully Dog so you can still get updates etc.
Never took the cab off to do mine. It was a little bet of a bear but the whole re&re EGR and DPF tuner, exjhust, etc. Took less then 4 hr.

I'll look for you in the global. What base?
USAF99 just emailed u, JBER
What programmer did you use ?
Hi, are you able to pass emissions after EGR/DPF delete?
Absolutely not. A delete is for off road use only.
