Best solution I’ve seen for those that don’t have a workshop with table saw, bandsaw, etc… I have to cut 3m lengths of PVC pipe and thanks to you, did it easily and with a great finish using my cordless angle grinder 🙏
Thank you for watching the video and glad that it helped you. You may need to use power tools for cutting the PVC if you have so many pipes to cut. Please consider subscribing my channel.
Have you noticed the halved pipe shrinking over time? I had a friend cut me 75mm pipe in half. 4-5 months later they are down to 65mm diameter and what was a perfect 180 degree semicircle is now around 200 degrees. I wonder if the PVC pipe is manufactured with some tension?
Best way to cut a straight line lengthwise on a pipe is to use a small piece of angle iron or even a wooden corner molding if that piece sits anywhere but straight up and down on the pipe it'll Rock so it's self-centering and it will atic line

You missed the part I am looking for, the actual cutting lengthwise. Thanks any way.
I wanted to see the cuts be done in the video.
Just what I was looking for! Building “Grain Silo’s” for my model railroad.
Simple and effective. Thanks for sharing!
but you did not show the most important part, the actual process of cutting the pipe into two halves
Exactly my words, I actually watched this video for that reason, I do have a table saw, it just needs a jig to keep it from rolling sideways.
Thanks, I wanted to create a rain water gutter system. This helped a lot.
