    I met this flag car guy. I unintentionally hurt his feelings. He thought it was the most amazing thing, when he was showing me the national anthem light show thingy I ask if it could do other songs like ACDC etc…. It didn’t click with me that this car was his contribution to the war.

    In response to a previous video: Johnny, your dog is so jittery, you might want to consider a vest harness style of leash. It helps protect the neck of dogs that are constantly tugging on the line, and it helps the dog stay calmer while on walks, and so as a result they trust their owners more. The vest harness style of leash would probably help your dog handle the stairs in your building with greater ease, since this is something that seems to scare him. You can buy the vest harness style of leash online if they don't have it locally. I think your dog will thank you and it will make your walks more enjoyable if you get this kind of leash. Take my advice as a former dog-walker, the harness leashes are way better.

    Hey Dude, fellow Bay Arean here. NO you dont suck at it all. Hey man let me tell you something. I have been in Europe pretty much since the early 90s a few countries, mostly the Czech Republic. Yea, I am kind of a bad ass in languages I speak a few foreign tongues languages fluently, but hey man I have been here half of my life. You are better than you think. You have a long leg up on the languages since your brain already is used to using two mother languages. I ll tell you something man, having an English speaking brain and then trying to learn ANY SLAVIC language is a nightmare. It takes many years if not a lifetime. I know Anglaphones here almost 30 years and still cant form two sentences in Czech with correct grammar. Its no you its just the damnd slavic langauge. It takes many years at least 10 years you will need. That is if you really work at and get away from hanging around a bunch of goober English speakers who also cant speak Russian or Ukrainian. I learned German fluently in a year and with almost no accent. Yea it was 30 years ago and I was almost 20. I learned to speak Dutch too because it was easy and close to German and English. Czech took me 10 years at least. My Czech is not near as good as my German still after 24 years. It is ok. I have learned to just accept that it just wont be as good as my German. Just remember that it takes many years. It will happen. Keep your mind focussed and get way from again goober English speakers otherwise it might take you 20 to 30 years. Move to a villiage, get a girlfirend or wife who cant speak English. You probably need to move closer to the Polish or Hungarian borders. Living in the capitol city is not good around a bunch of educated young people. Get out there with the country bumpkins. Ukraianian is not hard at all, its no harder than Polish, Czech,Serbian Russian or any of them slavic langauges. For me to learn any of them now its pretty easy. You get the one down and then you can learn all the rest like cake. It will happen give it another 6 years.

    3:38 I admire all these Americans in Ukraine like you Johnny, doing your best to try to make life a little better there. However, I wonder what makes us decide to help some people but not others. For example, why do we help Ukrainians but not Palestinians who are suffering through something as bad perhaps worse? It's obvious they need some help. The international community has condemned Israel, but no one will stop them and no one will help Palestine. Is it racism? Riligiousism? I

    • @JohnnyFD
      @JohnnyFD  3 месяца назад +6

      First off, the two are NOT comparable, stop comparing the two. Ukraine did not go into Russia to kill civilians at a music festival and take hostages back into Ukraine. Secondly, even though Russian propaganda likes to falsely claim so, Ukraine's elected government is not a terrorist organization like Hamas is. Thirdly, and this is the last i'll waste my time on this topic, the West helps Ukraine, because we're connected, countries help their neighbors and allies.
      It's the responsibility of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and other Arabic and Muslim neighboring countries to help Palestine, not the EU's or US. Lastly, In 1994, Ukraine agreed to transfer these weapons to Russia and became a party to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, in exchange for assurances from Russia, the United States and United Kingdom to respect the Ukrainian independence and sovereignty in the existing borders. It's our responsibility.

    • @curiousnomadic
      @curiousnomadic 3 месяца назад

      @@JohnnyFD You're using fallacies as your arguments. Why is it the responsibilities of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and other Arabic and Muslim neighboring countries to help Palestine, when they had nothing to do with any of it, any more than it is the responsibility of the US to help Ukraine other than the Budapest Memorandum? Palestine is just as far from the US and the EU owes no more to Ukraine than it does to Palestine. But it is certainly the British responsibility for what they enabled the Zionists to do. I'll tell you why, because just like the fallout from Iraq and Syria, the EU is going to have to absorb the brunt of all the refugees that are created by this brutal massacre on Palestine. It's the US's responsibility to take in all the refugees from Iraq isn't it, since they waged an illegal war of aggression against Iraq but it ends up being defacto Europe's burden because they end up taking in all the refugees. As a result the extreme far right gains more power on the basis of anti-immigration and racism, and everyone suffers. Do you understand?

    • @curiousnomadic
      @curiousnomadic 3 месяца назад +1

      @@JohnnyFD And then you are blaming Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and other Arabic and Muslim neighboring countries for not helping, but isn't that what the Iranians, Lebanon (Hezbolla) and the Houthis re trying to do?? But we get brainwashed our media, just like the Russians get brainwashed by theirs, to believe to believe the Houthies are "terrorists" when they are only trying to put pressure on the west to stop Israel. The hypocrisy is maddening.

      But so many Ukrainians speak Russian as their main language. We have around 200,000 Ukrainian refugees here in Warsaw and at least 90% of them are Russian speakers.
