Damn, her voice is stellar! I didn't expect her to sing nearly as well as Ann. Such a sexy, talented, kick-ass woman.
They only have 2 Number one songs and she sang lead on one of them..."These Dreams" other one was "Alone"

Look at the top on her takamine guitar...those wear marks from the pick say it all, that guitar is a part of her.

The fact that she let her sister take that role shows her generosity.
What do you think it would sound like if Ann performed solo acoustic, and banged on a guitar? It would be nowhere near the talent and skill that Nancy has.

Ann is a stronger singer, but they are both far above avaerage. Nancy is better than 95% of other singers then or now.

Actually... Roger Fisher and Howard Leese were the lead guitar players in Heart. Nancy is mostly a rhythm player. She can play lead but her great rhythm playing adds to the bass and drum sound.
My niece wasn't a fan of rock and then I played her some Heart and she heard Nancy playing guitar and she was absolutely enamored. She is currently learning guitar and writing songs.
Nancy never got the credit she deserved. She's an awesome talent! Love ya Nancy!

what I love is how she always rewrites it a little bit every time she plays it live, it's never quite the same twice, but it's always amazing.

One of the most underrated acoustic players out there today. Forgot that Nancy has a nice voice as well. God gave Ann the powerful voice, but Nancy got the great instrumental talent on guitar. Not a bad tradeoff.
Nancy's a great singer too. She sang some hits by Heart. They sound very similar to each other singing.
Ann can play guitar just as good as Nancy..plus flute,piano, clarinet..drums. both of them are true "musicians"...Nancy got used by MTV and the label for her looks..while Ann was fat shamed.
