You show the technique most of us do.. we don’t all have the $ to buy expensive products like the “pro” YT channels. I do things this way. Hell I even make grass with jute twine.. great job.
Thank you, it’s amazing how much money can be spent on modeling supplies. Sure there are some things that the money is well spent, but there are quite a few other materials that look just as good and don’t break your wallet at the same time. Very cool idea with the grass
“It’ll talk to you.” Some people might think that’s the statement of a madman, but I get it. You’ve taken an inanimate object and brought it to life, Great job Dr. Frankenstein. 😂 But seriously, Boone, you are a master craftsman. You have the skills and the tools to create something from nothing. You also have passion for what you are doing. This passion is what seperates you from the rest the herd and enables you to bring life to Deception Raceway. Does Deception Raceway talk to you? Most definitely.😎🤙
@@BoonesSlotCarGarage … Really like the BIC pen straw idea. I can see how using that technique would give me better control over an airbrush. As for using pictures as a reference, I don’t see how you can create without pictures. Of course, I have long time friend who is a backcountry watercolor artist. I have years of seeing him create his paintings from pictures he took on a backcountry adventure, so I’ve kinda been conditioned to using that technique. Thanks again Boone, you do incredibly realistic work.
Hey there my RUclips friend, this is one excellent scalelectric track layout. I really like what you've done with it buddy. Keep up the good work fella. I would love something like this for myself pal.👍 👏 👌 Excellent information.
Hello Boone, best regards from Germany. Once again a great video from you about our hobby. Your ideas are great and the layout of your lane looks very realistic due to the natural implementation. I look forward to your next videos.
🤣, You finally put some water on your track using Woodland Scenics water products! I have two already made and now I too may add a waterfall to mine thanks to you!
@@BoonesSlotCarGarage How's the Rest of the water feature coming along? I liked the paint video but, I'm more interested in how your waterfall is going to turn out, I Might Just Wanna add one to a section of my track once it's COMPLETELY on a layout table!
@@djangofreeman5085 plan on starting the filming today. Had to take a break and catch up with some other projects that I have so I could get them in mail and off to clients. Plus there is a prop that I had to build for the pond area that I needed to build
Boone. Just as impressive as any model railroad scenery that I have seen! I love the way you describe in detail the techniques you use. I got a scaley set that I have to set up for my son and we will be using your layout as an inspiration1 Many thanks and keep the videos coming!
i thought about doing waterfalls and then put LEDS into the epoxy wich is supposed to be the water and then it looks like glowing blue water falling down ... like as if it moves.... i wonder if this works/ is possible ... i d like to build a litttle brazillian rainforesty circuit .... with shitloads of plants jungle growth palmtrees and maybe 2 or 3 little streams one of them water fall and at night i let them glow together with track lanterns and some flat (not so high cause you know ... visibility of the track) buildings n stuff ... just the first vague ideas
That’s awesome idea… I would love to see a layout like that. I can almost picture in my head what it would look like. If you do decide to build this I would love to see some pictures…
@@BoonesSlotCarGarage we ll see ... if life works out accordingly regarding budget growth as planed ...i just came up with your pond there ... how about putting tiny fish in there wehn you can look inside the water from the side ? like a layer epoxy and then wehn its like half dry put fishys on it then n new layer, new fishys and so on ... so that it looks like they all arent on the same level under water so to say
@@solunasunrise there are a few fish in the pond I did . It’s a little tricky, you have to place them before the resin pore , so if you want them at different levels you have to clear sticks so you don’t see it when the water effect is completed
