Although I had seen some roosterfish in the previous days, I hadn't managed to hook any. This morning, there were roosterfish everywhere, just not the 50lbers we were searching for

The July season I have caught several roosterfish of the same size on the shore along the Ensenada del Muerto beach. Good luck catch and release

Yes i thought the same. Because rooster fish is prime during summer months. Jansen said so. I assume you recently had the time to edit snd uplosd the video. Cool nicely done
at 17:23 is that lure rigged to swim backwards? Theres a treble at the nose?
No, i think what youre referring to is the clip i was using. The lure has a treble at the midsection and back

@@addicted2fishing119 i was throwing a topwater lure by jansen lures called the ballyhoo. Works great in this area. Last week i got a 40lber from a kayak using a jig though

Cabo killer and other fast moving topwater lures. This is the best time for big roosterfish and i know they have been catching a lot

Yes but these are very very small. Better to release
You really should include your gear lures and how you present your lures!!! Make your videos beneficial to the sport and not just about you.
