What an awesome video! So informative, and the footage was stellar. Crazy to catch 20 fish by noon. I'm hoping to catch a single Striped Marlin on my upcoming Cabo trip. Thank you for posting this great video!
Peter, this is the stuff dreams are made of. I have ten years on you and have yet to catch a marlin of any species. When I was 15, the #1 thing I ever wanted to do (before the term "bucket list" was coined), was to catch a grander blue marlin. I doubt I could do that now, though I'm still still pretty strong (ICU RN), but a marlin of any species is now my dream. I still dream. Hopefully one day. For now, I continue to live vicariously through you. FISH ON, buddy!! Tight lines and catch 'em up!!! :) And, wahoo sashimi... oh my. I literally drooled. Nice digs, too. Loved this episode. Thanks!! :)
I just caught my first striped marlin in Cabo this week! It was absolutely the best experience, took me 30 minutes to reel it in lol. Measure at 101” and I’m assuming 150-160 lbs
