ooooh this colorful look made me think of something!! i would love to learn how to coordinate a makeup look with an outfit. i feel like going too matchy matchy can sometimes look a bit bleh, but i struggle so much to figure out what goes together. and are there ways to make a makeup look that’s already done go with a different look?
and that made me think of something else that is a similar problem lol-
please help me figure out how to make an eye look, blush, and lipstick go well together. i know picking one to be colorful and making the others neutral works, but what if i want a bit of color on two of those?
the other day i put on some sparkly cool-toned pink eyeshadow and tried to pair it with a cool toned taupe-y lip and it was AWFUL. so i went with a clear gloss.
any advice (perhaps a video?) on how to make a makeup look cohesive on the face and as a part of an entire look would be awesome !

These are all very interesting ideas!👍 I’ll write them down.
I personally like matching eyes to a blush and making lips more neutral, for example. Or matching lips and blush also works perfectly. But eyes and lips in the same colour story may work, but it is quite harder to achieve a cohesive look.
I will also tell you one more secret: if you’re creating a really colourful eye makeup look and one of the colours looks off, then it should appear twice. For example, bright orange on the waterline and in the inner corner. Or lashes and in the inner part of the lower lid, etc. I just accidentally remembered that and decided to share❤️
