I noticed that the married couple would get ranked higher by the other couples because they are Married, but then would end up lower after the nectar evaluation. I think people look at marriage as “you found your person, so things must be perfect”. I believe the other couples were looking at the married couple in the typical way most young couples do which is your life must be perfect because you’re married. But in actuality they are hit with the most strife and things to overcome that put them lower on the list. Marriage isn’t all sunshine and rainbows, that’s why a lot of them fail not a lot of people are willing to grow with a partner or stay true to what they promised because they didn’t quite understand what they’re getting into before hand. Life happens, and for (some not all)things get put above your marriage. Money, kids, society, social circles. This can all put a big strain on a relationship especially if you’re not prepared.
True! ❤ I was divorced at 26. Married due to extreme religious upbringing and pressure. We were waaay too immature to make it work. It can be wonderful but it definitely requires work, skills of all kinds and puts meaning into the phrase "love is a verb".
The fact that they are both different religions and she's Indian and Hindu means family acceptance is a problem in their relationship, which is one of the main causes of divorce.
I think a cool video idea would be to get a group of strangers in the room, and try to create the most compatible couple. Like each round the group works to see who has the most in common and who looks the best together, etc., and they have to eliminate people until the end.
Daisy and Max's relationship with the comment Drew made about " Daisy was putting a time limit on Max" felt so rude while making zero sense? She told her boyfriend what she expected from her long term relationship since many women waste 10 or even more years on partners that do not want to get married to them, which is a complete waste of time and energy not to mention money as well. She seems pretty smart and driven too, so its no wonder why she told him straight up that that's what she wants.
Yea I think he interpreted Daisy’s comment as “oh I tell him EVERYDAY” like no she said outf ront from the start 8 years. She set expectations clearly. 8 years is a long time and completely reasonable. If she said 1 year that would be a ton of pressure. 8 years is enough time to know if you’re compatible enough for marriage or move on. Drew was on the “alpha” male ranking video so his ego/judgment came through in this episode.
I think its probably because daisy and max do not believe in true love in a sense and more of a logical thing to do while drew and vanessa are definitely in love and believe in it so if you find your true love it shouldnt matter marriage or not, plus if daisy cares so much about marriage why not propose to him? Drew and vanessa are clearly best friends and in love and dont care what other people think about them
I do wish Jubilee was more inclusive of other generations in this video. It seems like we have 1 millennial couple and 4 gen z couples. Would’ve been interesting to include more millennial, gen x, or baby boomer couples.
I agree with you, but jubilee is obsessed with woke couples, lgbt, interracial couples etc... that gives them more views, they dont care about true inclusivity

Lol I hear that. But I attribute it to their time together/friendship during their formative years. You develop a lot of non verbal communication, shorthand, a general vibe that comes off as insular and judgy...like no one else is on the joke except them.
Vanessa deadass said on a lie detector test, in another video, that she wouldn’t be with drew if he was shorter than her. They both seem like crooked individuals so I’m glad they’re together.
no i had the same thought because if i was part of this line up n saw them snarking in the corner like that WHILST people are speaking, we gon have to get active.
@@rustupidrudumb4355 no like the way i wouldve politely interrupted whoevers talking to straight up call out drew and vanessa. Why did you guys have Drew and Vanessa talking about the other couples in their interviews? It didn't appear that anyone else was talking about the other couples the way that they were.
I'm confused about the editing in general we didn't hear several of the couple's answers and which only made some of their rankings even more confusing especially when they would edit out/ fast forward the explanation process. Seems like Drew and Vanessa took up much of the editing for the interview parts idk maybe they just wanted some drama in the comments (they got it).
As insufferable as they were, they definitely edited the video to make them look worse. I wouldn’t be surprised if they just cut out the other couples talking about them
@Ronin.97 I agree. This video was not well thought out at all. Very disjointed and awkward. They should've had a more diverse set of couples, that were not all super young. This episode was really unpleasant to watch.
Drew definitely has a girl best friend. He also seems like the type to go off to college and cheat on his girlfriend, his girlfriend is insecure and lives in fantasy land lmao
Actually in another video they did that also involved couples. Drew’s best friend is actually a boy but he still thought that Vanessa still felt jealous over them
@@supporteason6949 But the way she responded to that “joke” definitely showed that she does genuinely feel uncomfortable with his male best friend. To be fair in the same video, she did say that he was a fuckboy so I suppose what she’s feeling just stems from trauma not necessarily jealousy in itself.
The way they did the first ranking was harsh, especially for interracial couples. I can imagine feeling very isolated from that prompt. I understand that they meant no harm, but it was still disappointing to watch in real time. Cute couples though
Wasn’t that the point though? The various categories in the video literally showed that outward appearances don’t determine relationship compatibility.
Maybe it's a Gen Z thing, but I find Drew and (?) Overbearing. They were dominating the whole conversation and way the lineup went, but everyone is loving them. They were likeable in the last video though. I prefer the more laidback couples. Daisy and Max seem quiet and they got put lower or allowed themselves to be placed lower as a result.
the dude with the black and white shirt and the red hair girl couple are so disrespectful to other people's relationship maybe that's how they were able to go from friends to lovers by not respecting their previous partners🙃 at first i didn't have an issue with them but it looks like mocking other people is the guys go to, as if no one can be different from him or something. like do they expect her to be oh it's not going to work out even if it's her first boyfriend? my father was my moms first everything and it worked out for them so stop projecting and even if it doesn't work out i think she's allowed to be excited about her relationship without being mocked for it, grow up tf.
Obviously she is in love with him and believe they are the ones for eachother and vice versa so ofc they will be worried about the other not feeling the same - also they are just making light-hearted jokes and sharing exactly how they are thinking, which may be something lits of people arent familiar with

I've seen another Jubilee video with both of them in it, and they have no issues telling you to your face their issue with you. These videos are heavily edited, anyway, so we don't know if they actually are talking behind people's backs or not. Something to consider.
I know Jubilee's target audience is Gen Z, and this channel loves dramatic content and people. But I just can't take these people in their early 20s seriously, most of them are bound to break up eventually, probably sooner than later. And they typically don't say anything substantial or valuable. Simran and Alex are the only more mature couple. Yet, even they're very young. Jubilee shouldn't only focus on sex-orientation diversity but also age, especially if you want to hear more wisdom. You all saw how the rest of the group reacted when Simran and Alex said they were having less sex after having a baby. That's completely normal, but what would borderline teenagers know about marriage and lasting relationships.
Yuh I wish jubilee had a large variety of ages. I feel like I’m always seeing 18-30 year olds the most. I WANT A GUESS THE COUPLE AND ITS ALL ELDERLY PEOPLE
I am 24 and I wholeheartedly agree. I wish there were older couples because I would’ve loved to hear their perceptions & wisdom. The way these couples perceived relationships as a whole and answered the prompts was a very shallow & surface levelled way of thinking. I also noticed a lot of them were too scared to open up about anything that made them seem as if they were a “weak” & non compatible couple. They treated it like competition which just goes to show how much they lack depth and knowledge when it comes to relationships. Relationships are not always easy & it takes a lot of compromising, team work, effort, trust, time & communication to build a strong n healthy couple. Realistically, most relationships do not work out in the end especially being so young. That’s why I choose to stay single. It took me two unhealthy relationships for me to realise this. Most people just don’t learn & end up jumping from person to person in hopes that they’d find their “soul mate”. We can’t rely & depend on somebody else to make us feel loved, worthy, “whole & complete” until we give that to ourselves first. Relationships really aren’t all sunshine and rainbows like everyone makes it out to be 😂😅
Drew is an actual narcissist and is way too cocky, even in the “lie detector couples” vid, whenever someone else talks or says something he doesn’t agree with , he’s constantly making snarls, rolling his eyes, giving dirty looks, he also got called out in the lie detector video for making fun of a guy for thinking “he’s alpha” and then when it was brought up by the host infront of everyone, he folded and said “no I truly mean it I wish I was as alpha as you”. He’s very egotistical and insane.
One of my favorite questions to ask couples that I meet are how did they know each other. Most of the time they will say dating apps, I also met my bf on dating app lol

@@_Ash0099 No, they are complaining that the person wanted to be filmed, but it's Jubilee that wanted to film him. If Jubilee didn't want his opinion, then we would never hear it.
Max and Daisy - I think religion will cause problems for them. It's one thing if you're from different religious/cultural backgrounds, but if one is a strong believer who places a lot of importance on his christian faith, and the other is agnostic, I think it will eventually cause a lot of problems in the relationship.
Hi! I’m a strong Christian and my partner is agnostic, and after almost 4 years it’s caused no issues! It just takes a lot of respect of each other’s beliefs, and of course forgiveness if the other says something wrong. For example, they kept swearing in a church when we went to a wedding because “it’s not my religion”, so we had to have a talk about respecting everyone’s beliefs again. And I have to make sure I don’t push my beliefs on them, because I never want to make them feel uncomfortable :)

Daisy and Max were actually a very interesting presence. Also, Daisy's boundary about the eight year mark makes a lot of sense to me ♡
@davidx. 1504 In another Jubilee video that came out out prior to this, both Vanessa and Drew have stated that he used to be a fuckboy that would pretty much make out with most of his female friends, and knowing that I think I can understand the reasons.

This was spot on
Beautifully put
True! ❤ I was divorced at 26. Married due to extreme religious upbringing and pressure. We were waaay too immature to make it work. It can be wonderful but it definitely requires work, skills of all kinds and puts meaning into the phrase "love is a verb".
@@diyalectic52 ooh I’ve never heard that before (“Love is a verb”🫨)
The fact that they are both different religions and she's Indian and Hindu means family acceptance is a problem in their relationship, which is one of the main causes of divorce.
I think a cool video idea would be to get a group of strangers in the room, and try to create the most compatible couple. Like each round the group works to see who has the most in common and who looks the best together, etc., and they have to eliminate people until the end.
Ok Jubilee needs to take note of this idea, I would totally watch!
I would love this
Would have to be with single people tho loool🤣
This is a cool idea.
I have no problem with an up-front time limit but 8 years is too long!
@@Cheray_ she was saying he has 8 years to propose to her - its a maximum, not a minimum
@@Playsch00l Yes. That's why I said it's too long. Max shouldn't be more than 2 years!

It didn't appear that anyone else was talking about the other couples the way that they were.
I'm confused about the editing in general we didn't hear several of the couple's answers and which only made some of their rankings even more confusing especially when they would edit out/ fast forward the explanation process. Seems like Drew and Vanessa took up much of the editing for the interview parts idk maybe they just wanted some drama in the comments (they got it).

the dude with the black and white shirt and the red hair girl couple are so disrespectful to other people's relationship maybe that's how they were able to go from friends to lovers by not respecting their previous partners🙃 at first i didn't have an issue with them but it looks like mocking other people is the guys go to, as if no one can be different from him or something. like do they expect her to be oh it's not going to work out even if it's her first boyfriend? my father was my moms first everything and it worked out for them so stop projecting and even if it doesn't work out i think she's allowed to be excited about her relationship without being mocked for it, grow up tf.

I WANT A GUESS THE COUPLE AND ITS ALL ELDERLY PEOPLE
I’ve watched since my early 20s when i had that mindset and now that i’m 30 i would love some content that “grows” with my age.
I’m 24 and honestly even being only a few years older than these people I can’t relate to them whatsoever and see them as mostly incredibly immature
@@vl3525 This. Jubilee should grow and evolve with its audience, or at least make content for both the existing and new audience.
