I think the issue is more so that some men aren’t that hygienic and when they’re uncircumcised, it makes it even harder to clean. I have noticed that there tends to be more natural buildup in the uncircumcised peni I’ve seen 😂

The circumcision convo was so frustrating. It’s an unnecessary surgery that causes sensation to be significantly decreased. It should only be done on consenting adults or in medical emergencies. That guy calling the natural body dirty was so uninformed.
Humans do lots of unnecessary things to their body. It's like someones tattoo, it only bothers if you let it.

@@Courtannica Most circumcisions until very recently were done without anesthesia until very recently (like within the last 10 years), and new studies coming out show that circumcised babies grow up to have PTSD symptoms despite having no recollection of the actual event.
@bryansmith915 to the best of my knowledge (and horror) they don't use sedation on babies. At all. But you'd think for a child of 7.... there'd be some sedation there.

I kinda wish circumcision/genital mutilation was taken more seriously. If we know all genitals are the same structures that developed differently, then cutting body parts off of any non-consenting newborn is extremely messed up regardless of the assigned gender at birth.

the way a lot of these people talked about mental health and therapy as if it is something that only affects a select few of us was strange to me. Everyone has experience trauma on some sort of level and everyone regardless of the level of trauma they’ve experienced can benefit from therapy. Normalize mental health and therapy as something that relates to all of us!
I agree. Their assumptions about going to therapy making you weak and laughing at the one guy's work in the mental health field is really telling of how far we still have to go

The vast majority of straight men don't have an issue being friends with a gay guy - it only becomes a problem if boundaries aren't respected but that doesn't usually happen. Even the most staunchly conservative men that I've known don't have an issue with individual people, even if they do with the current movement.
