Now that the DLC has been released, Honey has the best throw. She hurls that thing strong enough to break the sound barrier. Both normal and Dynamax.
Honey, Avery, and Hop have the best Dynamax / Gigantamax throws.

I like how all these pokemon trainers use certain types of pokeball in battle.
As a baseball lover, I noticed that:
- Marnie uses a paused high leg kick. Looks hard to balance like that!
- Milo throws like a sidearm pitcher.
- Nessa uses an absurdly high leg kick, which is a reference to Choi Seol Hwa (korean model who used the same leg kick on a cerimonial pitch).
- Kabu throws using a "three quarters" arm slot, but the motion starts like a submarine pitcher.
- Bea throws like a softball pitcher, using the "windmill" arm motion.
- Melony throws the ball using Derek Jeter's iconic "jumping throw".
- Bede uses the average japanese leg lift, very balanced.
- Hop and Leon throw the pokéball using the legendary "tornado" motion from Hideo Nomo.

Also, I noticed a couple people mention that the lone Dark Gym Trainer in Spikemuth is missing, and yeah I noticed that too, but there's also Leon at the Battle Tower.
The fact that Bede is the only left handed character besides those reporters on route 5 seems so right, it makes so much sense. He gives off left handed vibes and behaviour. I wonder how the left handers feel knowing that he’s the only left handed person in game.

What I'm wondering about the most: how many battles you have had to fight
I'd love to see this video get updated. Including the trainers that were previously missed (Spikemuth Gym Trainer, League Staff, Battle Tower Leon, normal Gym Challengers in the Champion Tournament), as well as the trainers added in the Expansion Pass (Klara, Avery, Master Dojo Students, both variations from Mustard, Honey, Peony, potentially the one from Leon in the Galarian Star Tournament since it's slightly different).
Yeah, we need an update for that.
