  • There's a lot of value in corn residue. 360 CHAINROLL helps maximize that value, speed stalk breakdown and boost ear count. Learn how in this video.

quite interesting,, but growing up on a little farm in northern norway where everything from the fields was used for other things before brought back to the field i say letting corn stalks roth is a bit of a waste,, unless you have so much other CHEAPER stuff, say straw for bedding and such.........
corn stalks could be baled,,, ground up and used as bedding for animals ore. used as fuel for pellet ovens ore just mixd with manure for biogas digesters and so on,, and brought back as FREE FERTILISER

cornstalks are an excellent soil builder when left on the field.

It's not "FREE FERTILIZER" when it has to be raked and bailed and hauled, processed, hauled back and spread. The U.S grows 32,000,000 hectares of corn. Look at the size of the field in this video. For 1,000 km across the mid-west it's one field after another just like that. There are parts of Iowa where you can drive for an hour and see nothing but corn. Corn stalks have no market value there. With farmers struggling to break even growing 10 tons of grain corn per hectare, reducing fertilizer inputs is gold. The stalks are worth more in the field.

No. Not every head. Just Deere, CaseIH and Geringhoff.
