The problem with number 4 at least for me is that my first big crush wasn’t even my crush to begin with. I only started liking them because of the rumors of them liking me. I made my self think they liked me due to the rumors only to realize that they had no feelings for me. Since it was middle school and dating is weird I just wanted someone to acknowledge they cared for me, not to date them. But nevertheless I always have to have expectations as low as possible so if the worst case scenario happens I’m not as hurt.
I believe i just need to apply more eye contact. And listen more. Also imagining them liking me would help as for awhile i was thinking negatively and it made it harder to interact with them. So thinking positively can surely help that.
