I have a question. How do males and females bond with each other? I don't see how men and women can bond (especially romantically) with each other. Men and women think very differently from each other.
Women can build incredible friendships and become very close to each other in a way men can't bond, and science shows that women can bond very well with each other. Generally, women are even more social than men are. After something bad happens, a woman quickly rushes to talk to all of her female friends to get support, whereas a man can isolate himself and grief alone.

They as a couple might have clear boundaries on what is ok and not. And the person that is hitting on you might not be unfaithful at all.
Or they can be a cheating bastard.
Or you might read more into it than reality.
There are many possibilities.
But one thing is for certain.
In a relationship, if it's a friendship, coworker, lover, or what ever else, you have to respect the boundaries set. If their interaction towards you makes you uncomfortable you should be clear on your boundaries.

They might deflect or makes excuses. They might say their partner knows. They might say many things.
But if they are not considerate of your boundaries then they don't respect you.

I've been where you are rn and now I am the person in a (kind of draining, long and not the happiest) relationship... it's been a rollercoaster of feelings for me, like I don't want to suddenly hurt my partner (especially because we already hurt each other in the past), but I also don't want my crush to feel played- I'm serious about him. The story: So a few days ago my crush rejected me 😭 I was literally so heartbroken that I didn’t talk to anyone the rest of that day. But two days later, when I entered my school classroom, I sit in my seat. I glance to the person next to me, named Kaito. And I immediately fell in love with him somehow. I never speak to him because I’m always afraid. But the next day, I was struggling with my project that was due soon and he offered to help me with it. I just nodded, STILL afraid to say anything. He sat a bit closer and started helping me. My old crush, named Masato, looked like he was going to murder Kaito 😭- but looks like someones jealous! 😂

I disagree. I'm seen as unattractive whenever I talk about things nobody else is interested in. I've had many crushes before in the past but they always liked me for my cynical sense of humor right on the spot. It always worked with girls for me. But otherwise they liked me because of how nice of a person I can be towards them as well as support. I had one situationship that ended sour that I had feelings for that I couldn't work out. And I went through emotional pain for a few months to get over two girls I thought were my friends but only used me. I love giving girls as friends compliments so they're appreciated! That's what boosts my self esteem and helped me to talk to girls again. I made a new female friend recently and she started to be there for me and appreciates our friendship.

You should know more about that person, talk to them, make them feel valid, make them feel like they're really special, because later on they will appreciate your kindness and love.
