I can see there's a lot of work that has went into creating this video, it was really well researched video, backed by relevant drone videos, along with old photos and illustrations in order to explain the route. #AskPT Why we don't make standard gauge track instead of broad gauge track
Good question, I think it's primarily because of the population of India. Trains running on broad gauge track can occupy more passengers than trains running on Standard gauge. Also India being a huge country has the capability to establish a railway network of it's own without depending on other countries, so it can make track of any size uniformly across the country and it will still work and used. But a small country like the Europeans cannot do that cause the rail network is related to each other. Would love to learn more from @Powertrain #AskPT
