The Hoenn starters don't actually have a second type triangle synergy, so Dragon/Ground/Fighting is fine for the final forms. The Banette line is made of a toy, so why not make it a Normal/Ghost Type. The Duskull line could be Ghost/Dark with Iron Fist Ability. Normal covers Sound typing well enough (which is a reason why I'd have preferred a Grass/Normal Rillaboom) However you give the Exploud line an ability that changes it type when a particular sound move is being used. Cacti have a lot of water, so why not make Cacnea part Water? For Glupin and Swalot, while Bug does work for the reason you gave it, maybe ghost could work, I'll explain. I would definitely make the Exploud line Dragon Type, considering they are purple ogre creatures, can learn Outrage, and are similar to Pokémon like Lickitung in their design scheme
I wold make the exploud line fairy type because some of the moves related with voice are fairy type, in particular i see this being a perfect fit for wishmur wich also relate with the common fairy aspect of being little and "cute", an aspect that got kinda lost with evo though. it's funny how in the Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee games, Jigglypuff and Clefairy are considered fairy types, even though fairy types weren't introduced until gen 6.

@@hbb1939 yep. I mean with Alola and Galar I understand. It's just kind of weird that they did that since the Let's Go games are a remake of Pokemon Yellow. Though Ash probably would have had a good go round with any fairy type trainer or gym leader if they existed in gen 1, since he has a Muk.
@@emperorcubone Oh I know about the modernization of them. It makes it easy for me since my Shiny Muk can destroy them in battle. And then you have the Mega evolution, which I think is freaking cool.
There’s a Gen 5 rom hack called Vintage White which gives Kecleon the Normal/Ghost typing, which I think makes sense since chameleons kind of become invisible when they blend in to their environment. The hack also changes its ability to Adaptability so that also gets rid of the color change gimmick but I think it also could fit.
I think there's numerous fan games that do that, but it would be super cool in an official product! Like Stadium or something where you can test out your creations in battle? It might be unethical to experiment on Pokemon like that, but boy would it be cool...

I would actually suggest ice because when I was younger, I thought Absol was dark/ice type. Why? Idk maybe the color scheme? Also it's said to live high in mountains and I think you can find them on Mount Lanikila in USUM so... idk.
In Mystery Dungeon you find it in an icy forest, so I could see it! An Ice type Absol would be awesome!
For explode when I heard flying
I was like OHHH air that make sense
Before you even said hear me out on this 1
I think that milotic is the only pokemon that is fitting for both dragon and fairy and isn't 1 of the already (if you are going to ask how else is fitting for both*CAUF CAUF* Altaria *CAUF CAUF*)
Altaria isn’t very fitting for the dragon type, if it were introduced after fairies then it would share a typing with togekiss
I really love the varieties in your music lately. Keep it up Emperor Cubone!
interesting how rock fits well when you want to dual type a pokemon.
At least for the Hoenn region, yeah!
I think the only reason shroomish isn’t poison type is because poison heal would be worthless on a poison type, since they can’t be poisoned
This region's dual type suggestions worked out much better than for the previous regions imo, nice work!
I can imagine an exploud rocketing around with it’s wave and whismur levitating away while crying so i can see the flying type.
For the Whismur line I was thinking about either Steel, because... Metal is a quite sound-heavy style of music, and many instrument are metallic.
For Deoxys I was thinking about the Dark type, but Bug seems quite fit for a virus. Maybe Poison could fit, too?
Keep up the good work, I love this series
Cubone: Hoenn is no stranger to...
Me: ...love. You know the rules and so do I
I used to think that skitty line was pure fairy. These evolve by moon stone, look cutesy like Clefable
Flying type is the closest thing to sound in concept
Love this series, been waiting for this one!
09:45 Cacnea's body & face are meant ro resemble a Halloween pumpkin 🎃 (AKA Jack-O-Lantern), just like Cacturne's head, so I really think you should have given Cacnea the Dark type. 🌚
...I never noticed that.
Thanks for at least trying with Plusle and Minun. As a fan of theirs I know it's hard to make them make sense as duel types.
Hah, sorry. Do you have any better ideas?
Maybe water and fire, for their colors? Maybe even reversing the typing to emphasize their connection
@@mrcombustiblelemon2902 that makes a lot of sense
@@emperorcubone any two opposite types. I wanna say normal and ghost, but there's nothing ghostly about them. Fire and water, dark and fairy can be half a star.
Bruh, this dude even got a Plusle and Minun prof. Pic.
7:59 The issue with the calculation of Wailord's density is that weight and mass are not the same. It very well could be different.
I really love this series, it’s just so fun and unique
nobody:
Emp.: *slaps Normal type on everything*
Kecleon should be Normal/Psychic, it learns many Psychic type moves, then bid Ancient Power it should evolve into a Drepanosaurus inspired design where it uses it's its tongue to hardwire into the opponent and download all it knows then modifies it's stat boosts according.
Regirock Rock/Ground
Registeel Steel/Electric
Regice Ice/Water
They did do normal and ghost for bannete
Duskull line is dark from this guy
For Glupin and Swalot, while Bug does work for the reason you gave it, maybe ghost could work, I'll explain. Gulpin is in the shape of a living stomach, so maybe you could go the Yokai route with it and say Gulpin the the stomach of someone who died from hunger or the general spirit of someone who died of hunger, reanimated it tries to eat as much as it can to make up for it's previous life, using its poison to break down food faster so it can eat more in a shorter amount of time.
I alows thaught chimaco was a ghost type
Resently I realised it's a mono psychic type I was so confused
And I think it's fitting with it living in a place full of ghost types and the ghost like vulpix
So I'm going to give it the ghost type
I always denied the fact that it was pure Psychic, thinking it was also part Steel. Then I saw it someway with just Psychic.
You messed up with Gorebyss, Huntail has many Dark-type moves in it's level up and arsenal while Gorebyss has many Psychic-type moves in it's level up and arsenal.
Yes Huntail should get Dark as second typing to gain STAB on those moves and Gorebyss should get Psychic and not Fairy so it too can gain STAB on all those Psychic moves it learns
Banette's Dex entrances fit the Dark type almost too well.
For a while I thought Wailord actually was flying type, so it makes sense to me
I thought in game that shuppet was ghost dark as well as banette, they both should of been ghost dark in the game, shuppet preys on misery and banette is a scary voodoo doll. Also regirock, rock/ground. Regice, ice/water and registeel, steel/electric.
Fun series thanks. Each entry is quite enjoyable. It’s interesting to listen too while doing chores or making art. Thanks. Looking forward to the next one.
I love this series so much. I also think that Linoone should be Flying type. If you are confused look at it's head
The last air-badger?
@@emperorcubone yes. Fun fact: Appa was Linoone's beta design but they didn't like it, so they sold the idea to AtLA
@@npcmcishark7379 no
Honestly I'd give banette dark type just for it's pokedex entry plus the mega having red claws thought not being the color of blood the red color gives it the feeling of it being blood.
I'm mad he didn't even consider giving mah Regi's the ghost type they're friggin golems with thoughts!
Golems aren't nessisarilly undead
TBH It Would Make More Sense To Make Bannete as dark because it’s pokedex entry’s are really dark
Video: is online.
Me: Well, let's see who's a dragon type next....
Honestly it wasn't as bad this time... Maybe...
My spicy turtle torkol got so insulted. His defense is so amazing it isn't rock type he''s no macargo. He DESERVE the steel type.
ikr
I was thinking steel because of his being partly inspired by trains
Ok yall got a point but do you naturally find steel first in a living volcano
On top of that, Rock usually represents Physical Defense and Steel represents Special Defense.
@@necrozma4029 steel is general defense
@@necrozma4029 well if heatran can do it why not spicy turtle
I would actually give torchic 2 stars as it makes sense and we already have something like rowlet
Emperor cubone: Volbeat need to be fire type!
Pokemon radical red: electric, take it or leave it
I mean it's better than nothing I guess...
also makuhita is partially inspired by a sandbag. sand... ground... i see it
I would definitely make the Exploud line Dragon Type, considering they are purple ogre creatures, can learn Outrage, and are similar to Pokémon like Lickitung in their design scheme
The mad lad is actually doing it, wow.
Yo man my teacher told me about you and yo vids kinda lit keep it up
Oh, for real? That's awesome, thanks!
I wold make the exploud line fairy type because some of the moves related with voice are fairy type, in particular i see this being a perfect fit for wishmur wich also relate with the common fairy aspect of being little and "cute", an aspect that got kinda lost with evo though.
Also the feature of singing or using voice as a weapon in general is fairysh enough for me, even though we are more screaming than singing in this case 😅
I always keep on forgetting that wailord isn't water/flying so flying definitely works for it.
I love the idea of aliens, diseases, viruses, etc being Bug type. If Pokemon added an Alieon Eevee evolution that would really help this idea take off
Cant wait for the Galar Duo Type video!
Hah, well you might have to for a while. But it'll be worth the wait.
Fire/Steel would be pretty cool for Torkoal, imo.
ah yes, poison heal on a poison type
well at least it works with Salazzle...
Whismer line would’ve made sense as fairy types IMO
Banette deserves the normal ghost type
I definitely say ghost dark, they have a downright EVIL backstory in the whole possible child murder
@@MrBii03
Most ghost types are evil I won't say IT HASE TO BE DARK Dusknoir litterly hase dark in his name (noir in Franch Can both mean black and dark) and it isn't
Even so
The only thing I can think of when thinking about the ghost normal type is posist doll
@@MrBii03 Personally, I've always had a hard time separating Ghost and Dark types when it comes to them being "evil". You could argue that most Ghost types have malicious intentions based on their Pokedex entries.
I think that Ghost is supposed to the "spiritual", "cursed" and "spooky" type, while Dark is supposed to be the "fighting with dirty tactics" and "aggressive" type. Banette doesn't really come across as an aggressive, dirty fighter, which is probably why it isn't a Dark type, even in its Mega form.
I think the golems could pull off the ground type, especially Regigigas, as it moved the continents
it's funny how in the Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee games, Jigglypuff and Clefairy are considered fairy types, even though fairy types weren't introduced until gen 6.
theyre like that i all games past gen 6
Well yeah, the whole point of those games was to modernize them. Plus it connects with GO which had them as Fairy so they couldn't make them lose a type...
It's just you're going to have some original genwunners get confused and think that there are fairy types in the OG red, blue, and yellow games, when, of course, they didn't exist yet. And then you have the Mega evolution, which I think is freaking cool.
@@johnbakasmoothhotchocolate more like the opposite where genwunners hate fairy types and wished that they were just normal
"cacnea doesn't seem all that nefarious"
cacnea: ominous smile and souless eyes
There’s a Gen 5 rom hack called Vintage White which gives Kecleon the Normal/Ghost typing, which I think makes sense since chameleons kind of become invisible when they blend in to their environment. The hack also changes its ability to Adaptability so that also gets rid of the color change gimmick but I think it also could fit.
What if there’s was a Pokémon game where we could give each Pokémon new types? For example, make the Goodra line Water/Poison type
I think there's numerous fan games that do that, but it would be super cool in an official product! Like Stadium or something where you can test out your creations in battle? It might be unethical to experiment on Pokemon like that, but boy would it be cool...
@@emperorcubone indeed
Bruh it annoys me that Goodra ain't a poison type, it really should be.
I would have given Wynaut and Wobbufett Fighting type because of their “punching bag” niche. But otherwise I agree with all of your suggestions :D
8:20
Wait isn't Torkoal a fire/rock type already?
Edit: I googled it and it's not a rock type? Wtf? Since when?
Castform is oviously a should be flying type
I'm not shur but I think he is the only non flying type to learn hurrycane by level up
