While Flapple could be Grass Dragon Flying Appletun could be Grass Dragon Fairy because... well it's basically confirmed that any pokemon based on sweets or ones that are literally made of food are Fairy types (Slurpuff line, Alcremie line, Fidough)

It kind of already is, you can use Forest's Curse or Trick or Treat on a pokemon to add a type. If it's used on a pokemon that already has 2 types it will then have 3. But beyond that probably not, it sounds cool but it would get very complicated and weird fast. Maybe in a special case, who knows.

The Galarian Farfetch'd family obviously had its Flying type removed due to it, well, no longer being able to fly, just like all the other Pokémon based on flightless birds like Torchic, Piplup, etc. While there are some Pokémon that fly that aren't Flying types nor even got the Levitate Ability as you pointed out with Flapple, the *only* Flying type Pokémon that can't fly nor glide are the Duduo family and arguably Gyarados, and those can be chalked up to early installment weirdness.

I think that fossil Pokemon make more sense as an electric or dragon type compared to being a rock type being that when you go to restore the fossils in game it probably involves using electricity to restore them and most of the fossils look like dragon types anyway so it makes sense to make the fossils either a dragon or electric type.

I think the fossils OG forms would be Electric Rock, Dragon Rock, etc. I hope we get the normal versions sometime

Falinks should be bug steel, instead of fighting. I've always thought that 🧐

Falinks is based on the phalanx formation done by spartans and romans, the falinks themselves are supposed to represent those soldiers rather than little bug people

@@dracofire8106 more accurately the design has heavy Greek (thebian to my knowledge) inspiration but no retreat is obviously based on Rome who used something similar but different due to their preference for short swords over spears and th a lack of the hoplite (very important for phalanx formations) instead preferring the tower type scutim which obviously wasn’t the inspiration given the general shape and the fact the lead head uses what is obviously a hoplite as eye protection

I actually really hate the idea of triple types on any Pokemon. I think it would completely ruin the charming simplicity/cavernous depth dichotomy Pokemon's got going on. It's why I was worried about teratypes before I realized they replace the type(s) instead of adding one.
