seriously i was surprised just a few days ago by falink's typing. i never used it, and absolutely thought it was part bug-type. then a few days ago i started a monotype challenge on shield where i only used bugs, and it didnt come up on the list which definitely surprised me. spent a good few minutes after just going 'but.,, but it looks like.,,,,., its bug,, gotta be,.,'
It kind of already is, you can use Forest's Curse or Trick or Treat on a pokemon to add a type. If it's used on a pokemon that already has 2 types it will then have 3. But beyond that probably not, it sounds cool but it would get very complicated and weird fast. Maybe in a special case, who knows.
Surprised Overqwil wasn't mentioned in regards to having Water added back onto it. Yes, I know that that's a Hisuian Pokemon, not a Galarian one, but honestly I don't see how you'd be able to do a list like this when there's only 7 Pokemon and a handful of regional forms to choose from with Hisui.

I think Careless did sorta a good job… She made the fossil no longer rock types and fully it to it’s past form But she used wrong parts. Actually now thinking about it do you think because the fossil are usually dual type with rock and it’s two fossil fused together It is fully revived, it lost it rock.
The Galarian Farfetch'd family obviously had its Flying type removed due to it, well, no longer being able to fly, just like all the other Pokémon based on flightless birds like Torchic, Piplup, etc. While there are some Pokémon that fly that aren't Flying types nor even got the Levitate Ability as you pointed out with Flapple, the *only* Flying type Pokémon that can't fly nor glide are the Duduo family and arguably Gyarados, and those can be chalked up to early installment weirdness.

@@emperorcubone Falinks seems based on evolutionary mimicry. In this case it's a pure Fighting type that mimics Bug types to deter Psychic types (its main predators) from attacking it. However, this wouldn't really work well against Flying types, as they're strong against both Bug types and Fighting types.

One pokémon I fully expected to be here was Corviknight. I know that it doesn't really need another type as Steel/Flying suits it perfectly well but if I could give it any other type it'd have to be Dark type. It looks like it came straight out of a FromSoftware game so it's not like it wouldn't make at least some sense.

Calyrex just looks like they wanted a big brain-Pokemon. The only other Pokemon which are grass & psychic are the Exeggcute-line and Celebi. The horses just look like regional variants of Rapidash without actually being regional variants. Oh, that would actually be hilarious! Rapidash getting THREE different regional variants in the same region.
Actually, if I'm not mistaken, Glastrier and Spectrier actually ARE resurrected versions of the Galarian Rapidash, which previously was Calyrex's steed. It's also why you can only choose one or the other: Glastrier is the reanimated frozen corpse of Rapidash, while Spectrier is it's ghostly spirit returned from the afterlife (assuming I got my lore right)

It’s Dex mentions that it can glide in the air with the membrane on its back and it can use a few Dragon moves, along with being reptilian like. So Flying and Dragon might work out for it. I'm sorry but I think the reasoning "It looks like a millipede so it should be bug type" is almost as stupid as "It's blue so it should be a water type". They're based on ancient roman warriors in formation. While yes, they look like a millipede, they're not actual bugs, that's just not in their concept. I think that fossil Pokemon make more sense as an electric or dragon type compared to being a rock type being that when you go to restore the fossils in game it probably involves using electricity to restore them and most of the fossils look like dragon types anyway so it makes sense to make the fossils either a dragon or electric type.
Falinks is based on the phalanx formation done by spartans and romans, the falinks themselves are supposed to represent those soldiers rather than little bug people
@@dracofire8106 more accurately the design has heavy Greek (thebian to my knowledge) inspiration but no retreat is obviously based on Rome who used something similar but different due to their preference for short swords over spears and th a lack of the hoplite (very important for phalanx formations) instead preferring the tower type scutim which obviously wasn’t the inspiration given the general shape and the fact the lead head uses what is obviously a hoplite as eye protection

I actually really hate the idea of triple types on any Pokemon. I think it would completely ruin the charming simplicity/cavernous depth dichotomy Pokemon's got going on. It's why I was worried about teratypes before I realized they replace the type(s) instead of adding one.
